ClipDraw Gun Clip, Low Profile Slim Concealed Carry Easy Install American Made

Awesome product!! And very easy to install in less than 5 mins. One of my favorite things about this product is that it makes my gun sit very low in my waist so even when I'm wearing a thin tshirt and jeans and my tshirt blows up you can't really see my weapon. Another great thing about this product is not getting the added bulk that you would get from any holster. The clip is pretty snug when clipped on to your pants but it draws very easy with no pulling which I love. If you don't have one of these clips, get one!! I'm sure you'll love it. Attached are photos with the gun on the clip, and the gun with the clip on my waist band, notice you can't see the gun, which is awesome. But if you wanted to sit it higher up you can. [REVIEW UPDATE: ] So I finally went to the shooting range with this product, the product serves it's purpose and is great for what it is, but the back plate that comes with this product wiggles, and there's no way to stop it, as it's slightly not wide enough to seat in tightly without wiggling, so its not as tight as a fit as it needs to be for shooting. With this being said it causes my bullets to nose dive and and jam my gun alot, when I changed the back plate back to the original I had no jams at all with my gun. My gun jammed so bad with this clip on that we had to take a rubber mallet to the gun to clear the Jams. So I will not be using this clip draw at all for that reason. Sad part is I love it so much, but if I was in a situation where I needed to defend myself, I could not be confident with my gun working properly because of the flaw in this product.

Product was as I expected and fit my 442 perfectly. Quality product at a price point worth trying. That being said; I'll be staying with pocket holsters. After trying it out I found it just wasn't for me, or my style of clothing perhaps. I would have to train with it to get used to the clip obstructing the cylinder (by design) on the right side of the firearm. With training I'm sure it can be dealt with, but having to fumble with it to push the cylinder open on reloads just didn't elicit confidence in this method of carry. I did notice it has a tendency to rotate slightly on the firearm, but not enough to concern me. It does disappear on my overweight male body, but be sure to clip over a thin-ish belt, because when clipped onto my carhart jeans behind my double layer gun belt, it drags down the pants between belt loops. With effort I was able to make it clip over my gun belt, but I'm sure it will flex and fatigue over time and it also proves to be problematic for "re-holstering". If you think it will serve your purpose or carry style, I still suggest picking one up. It's really a low-buck buy which is why I'm not concerned about buying it and deciding not to use it. I'll be holding onto it however, since I can imagine a few potential situations where it may be useful to me, such as if I carried the j frame as a backup to my Glock 30, which I carry holstered IBW, but 2 spare mags take up the extra pants pocket I would otherwise use to pocket carrying my J frame. Giving it a fair 5 stars, because it does it's job. My decision not to use it has nothing to do with the product failing to perform.

Simple enough install. And the functionality is spot on perfect. If I had another 380 i would be buying another one of these clips. Threads are easy to cross thread. Just make sure everything goes in straight. Made the mistake of using metal pin to push clip pin out and bent it. New pins are soft and bend with to much force. It should be tight but slide threw. If not youre not lined up right .patience is key.

Generally good quality, does what it's supposed to do, beyond easy to install. Overall pleased with it. Having said that, there is a rather massive design oversight I found during a functions check after install: The clip itself rests on the extractor, potentially (or in my case, definitely) preventing the pistol from cycling as it can no longer properly eject spent casings, and may cause issues seating fully into battery. This is very easily fixed by either cutting a groove in the part of the clip that rests against the slide, or by bending the clip so that it rests above or below the extractor. This may not be present on every pistol, but it is for the Springfield XD-S, and I couldn't imagine similar pistols are different enough to escape this. Otherwise solid, well made and a more comfortable appendix carry than virtually any holster, and the block to adjust the carry depth is surprisingly helpful.
