Does the pillowcase stay on the pillow?

Yes, pillows are vacuum packed with no zipper, The pillowcase is on top of the pillow core, So all you have to do is turn the pillowcase upside down, place the pillow insert on the open end of the pillowcase, and then tuck the top of the pillow into the pillowcase, it has a flap that tucks the pillow in place and prevents the pillow from coming out.

How do I wash my full body pillow? Can it be machine washed and dried?

The body pillow insert can be machine washed and dried. However, we recommend：
Machine wash pillowcase：place the pillowcases inside a mesh laundry bag and wash with a mild detergent.
Machine wash pillow: Make sure the washer is well balanced and after washing the pillow in the washer, pinch the pillow tightly at all times to remove and absorb excess moisture as this will help significantly reduce the time required for drying.
Dry the pillow: We recommend gradually increasing the amount of heat in the dryer from low calories since everyone's dryer works at a different intensity.
Notice: we recommend that you wash the pillowcase more and pillow insert less to extend the service life.

Does this body pillow smell? How do you adjust to make it firmer?

When I get the pillow, I open the vacuum wrapper, Maybe it's because of the sealed shipment，but There is a slight smell, I have tried washing it in the washing machine before using it, and to my surprise, it has lost its smell, and in a few seconds the pillow will return to most of its shape, and I will gently pat and squeeze and fold it to loosen the fluff inside and return it to its normal fluffy shape.  please wait up to 48 hours for the pillow to expand to its full shape，It worked well for me.

If you want and need a FIRM body 54" pillow then check out "Milliard Full Body Pillow with Shredded Memory Foam" via Amazons or Duck Duck search engine to find it here on Amazon. I bought one a year ago. IT IS SUPER FIRM. You can remove material which is shreded foam to meet your specific need. This pillow and all the poly filled ones I've had and seen are lacking firmness. I am buying a second Milliard Shredded Memory Foam in their used section because I liked the foam firmness so much I want to make two reading pillow wedge pillows out of it for my outdoor summer day beds. This seems to be the very best foam I've found. I've been sewing and doing reupholstery work and outdoor equipment and sleeping bags even tents over the years so yes I know what I'm doing in that regard. However it's not easy to wash any kind of memory foam. You'll want to add a few liner pillow cases perhaps to help keep the pillow clean and dust free too so it doesn't develope dust mite and allergy problems over time. I also made a couple of other fleece pillow covers for it so to be able to wash both the cotton style tightly woven or my own allergy protective cover and the fleece fluffy covers and replace both while the others are in the laundry and ready to change out in a few days to a week depending on the amount of use and where I'm using it. (We get pine pollen season here and have ourselves over 200 ponderosa & other pine trees that can dump weeks of pollen so during that season it's best not to put any bedding especially pillows and mattresses and cushions outdoors. I made water proof and full zippered heavy pack cloth nylon covers for two XL twin real mattresses I used to replace the original day bed cushions with. And it's worked so well and has protected the mattresses I invested in that I've gone on to make pillow and bolster protectors too and all zip off to clean though. And these are all inner covers so I then make or use original covers for the cushions or pillows or bolsters or make new when I change color themes. Anyway I do similar in guest room area to help assure my guests don't experience allergies too. Check out the Milliard Full Body Pillow with Shredded Memory Foam pillows if you are serious about Firmness. Mind you I bought one 6 years ago also a shredded memory foam pillow that was TOO DENSE and too heavy to actually get any use out of it. And the Milliard for some reason was just right and I did remove a little of the foam which I made a small puff for an older cat who likes to sleep outside on a wood adirondack chair and it's been well used by said kitty. Good luck finding our ideal body pillow.
