Great blades and affordable
I go through a lot of blades in some craftwork I do and found most blades expensive for the length of time I would use them before a tip would break. Getting 100 of them at this price was great because it allows me to not worry about whether or not I will have a blade. I figure this will last me about nine months in total. The blades are sharp and heavy-duty. They are on the thick side, which can create problems with some handles, but the one I use the most holds them very well. The blades come wrapped in a heavy paper and are well oiled, but that paper will wear out over time due to contact with the tips of the blades. The plastic container is light-weight, but works to protect them for me, but I think a heavier-duty container would be good. But given the price, that's not a complaint. If you are in the market for this many blades, you won't do any better.

So sharp. So Good.
As an architect and woodworker, I know that sharp tools are safer for building models and other things. They are predictable, controllable, and therefore safer. These are the sharpest, best X-Acto blades available, and well worth the extra money. You'll make many more (and much better) cuts from this pack of zirconium nitride-coated blades than two packs of the regular ones. More cost up front, but less cost over time. A fewer blade changes while you're working. Erick The Reviewer

Good X-actos
I use a lot of X-acto blades in my work. These are good quality.

Much better than the cheap ones
These real X-Acto blades here are so much sharper and durable. They give a much cleaner cut than the imitations. I had ordered some of the cheap knockoff #11 blades a while back that were flimsy and not sharp enough.

Best blades around
Sharpest blades by far. The have just enough hive to use for plastic model kits. Would recommend

Could be sharper
I bought these blades because I recently return the x-acto x-life blades due to lack of sharpness. The sharpness of the z blades is certainly sharper than the x-life. I use these blades to cut gunpla, plastic models, and they perform sufficiently enough. I did had an old z blade that I was able to compare to the 100 pack. My old z blade seem sharper than the new ones. When I cut the plastic, the new z blade gave more resistance than my old z blade. I'm not sure if they changed their manufacturing but regardless these z blades are still sharper than compared to their other series. I included comparison of new z blade with old one. The old z blades is the one with gold handle, new z blades are gray handle. You could see the old blade had better cut angle compare to new one.

Extremely sharp
They are the best blades I have ever used. Extremely sharp and slightly more flexible, helping to make curved cuts without splitting the tip. Additionally, the edge lasts longer than usual. I accidentally dropped one to the floor and when it bounced, it was nailed into laminated wood.

they are sharp, there's lots, they are protected in both a waxed sheet AND oil, not just the little plastic container it comes in. i imagine that as long as you keep them in a relatively dry place, they'll be well protected from rust and the like and you'll have lots for use for a relatively long time. I've been using it to cut basa wood actually and they do the job really nicely. run a few pass throughs, flip, run a few more passes and, you're through. done. the first one hadn't needed replacing at all for a good long while, even while cutting, slicing, scraping and whittling through soft wood and glue. so i imagine this set will last me some years before needing replacing entirely, provided i don't lose the rest of them :p. considering all that, they're pretty cheap.

These are no better than regular No. 11 X-ACTO blades. The tips are not any stronger. Won't be buying these again.
