Missing and damaged parts
The first thing my husband and I noticed was that the seed catch panels, for around the bottom of the cage, were bent and damaged so bad that they are unusable. There were not enough screws provided, to attach all of the panels. The screws on the play area, on the top of the cage, are so long and stick out really far. It would have made more sense to have shorter screws for this. Not only so your bird doesn’t get hurt on them, but also for esthetics. The other issue we had was that the panels of the cage were also bend. For the order of the first cage we got, the panels were bent so bad that they couldn’t have been screwed together. The box was crushed and damaged, almost like something heavy was set on the cage, at the warehouse, and it bent some of the panels of the cage around the other panels of the cage. So we had to return that cage and order again. This time, the seed catch panels were very damaged and unusable but the panels of the cage were not bent. The latch on the main door of the cage is loose and not very secure either. You can tell that the latch is very low quality. I guess we can make it work. We have a conure and I don’t see it being able to move the latch, to escape. One of the biggest issues I have had is that the latches for the food bowl doors don’t stay screwed in. These latches have to be swiveled around, to open the food bowl doors and then slid back down over the door, to lock it shut. Each time I open the latch, I have to twist the screw, that is holding the latch, back in. Otherwise the screws get very lose and then the latch just dangled there. It has been very annoying to have to deal with this every day. The problem is that the selection of heavier duty cages like this is very limited and there is not much of a selection. If I could have ordered a similar cage, from a different company, for a better quality cage for the high price I paid, I would have. For the $400 I paid for this cage, the quality should have been way higher and parts of the cage should not have arrived damaged and unusable. I was tired of having to order and return and then order again and also deal with lugging this heavy cage back to the shipping company to return it and so I just made do but being able to use the seed catch border would have been nice, so seed doesn’t get all over the floor. I know it’s pointless to try to request new parts for this because customer service is just going to tell me I have to return the entire cage and reorder. Both the first and second order of this cage came with those parts damaged and unusable and I’m sure I would have the same issue with the third order and risk the panels of the cage on the third order being damaged as well. I would not have ordered from this company, if there had been other companies to order this cage from.

Fantastic upgrade for my African Grey - Great Quality for the Price!
I upgraded my African Grey’s cage from a similar rounded-top model to this one with the playground and seed catcher, and I’m extremely happy with the purchase. The cage arrived two days earlier than expected, packaged in two large but manageable boxes. The instructions were clear, all parts were included, and I was able to assemble it on my own in just a few hours—this even included hanging toys, adding plants, and setting up his bowls. The quality for the price is outstanding, and the finished cage is truly beautiful. I researched a lot before buying, and I can confidently say I would purchase this same cage again. A few practical tips from daily use: 1. Food bowls: The cage includes four large bowls (two on each side). I love being able to separate fresh foods, pellets, and seeds. I don’t use all four at once, but the multiple placement options help avoid accidental “aiming” into a bowl. 2. Lighting: My old cage had a flat light on top. I didn’t realize the playground’s catch tray would cover the top of this cage, but fortunately I was able to fit the flat light underneath the tray with no issues. If you use a different style of light, you may need to plan placement. 3. Seed catcher: While the seed guard around the bottom is great for containing mess, it sits fairly close to the floor and doesn’t extend very far. It saves space in the room, but my bird can still easily step past it and get onto the floor. Overall, this cage exceeded my expectations and has been a fantastic upgrade for my African Grey.

Great cage for the price
This is a great cage for a parrot. My Amazon loves it. Its large enough for her to stretch and flap her wings, plenty of room for her to climb around, plenty of room for toys, and easy to clean. It comes with 6 stainless steel bowls as well. Now there are a few things that I dont like about this cage however. The spinning latches that keep the food bowl doors closed are pretty cheesy and can be a bit tricky to get to latch. The ladders that go on the top of the cage are ridiculously thin. Not much bigger than a clothes hanger wire. There is NO WAY this is meant for a parrot. Finch, parakeet...yes. But not a parrot. The seed guard is quite a pain in the a*s to install. The perch that came with it was grooved too deep and it fell to the bottom twice. I had to wire tie it in place until I could make some. Having said this, I would definitely recommend this cage and would buy it again.

Wouldn’t buy again!
I bought two of these cages and have been testing them out for a few months, so I’d like to share my thoughts. The cages were pretty easy to assemble and are quite sturdy for my lovebirds. There are a few things I’m not a big fan of though. The doors can be a bit awkward, and I couldn’t find a bird bath or nesting box that I could attach to the outside. The doors aren’t very easy to remove, and I’ve avoided trying, just in case I break something or can’t get it back on easily. The feeder doors only have a little swinging clip instead of a lock, and that clip often comes loose. A few times I’ve come home to loose birds. I’m guessing the dogs passed by and rubbed up against the cage, which nudged the clip and allowed the birds to escape. Because of that, I’d say it’s not the best choice for outdoor use—it’s not entirely secure. After doing a lot of research and investing in some upgrades—including adding locks and securing it better—I feel it’s more reliable now. Would I buy this type of cage again? Probably not. But overall, given the price, it was a decent investment.

Great value
Bought as a replacement for one similar in size and style. I'd ordered this from other places just for them to cancel for being out of stock. I've searched the net and locally but finally found it here in stock and affordable. Could use better instructions on what screws go where and different door latches but I like the finish. It's sturdy enough for and big enough for Amazons and cockatoos. I knew ahead I wasn't going to use the seed guard because it scrapes the wall and is hard to clean plus my bird doesn't like the play top so those went with the old cage to recycling. My 'Too loves how easy it is to run in and out of the front door ( he's been doing that all morning ) so I think he likes it.

JUNK!!!!
JUNK JUNK JUNK. I bought the larger one for $549. The cage arrived dented from both shipping and prior to shipping. Many spots dented and the packaging was fine which leads me to believed it was dented before shipping. The bottom support rail for the poop tray was completely off so the tray cannot be held. The front door lock is no lock, its a cheap fake, my parrots figured how to open it in minutes. It made form thin aluminum that is easily bent. The food bowls are also supported by the same thin cheap aluminum, when the birds stand on it, it bends down. The instructions are terrible, several parts with no information as to where they go or attach. Do not waste your time or money. I contacted the seller with no reply for help. Major scam.
