I returned this for a replacement for the same issue. Eventually after a week it keeps running constantly and doesn’t turn off. What do I do?

Is it supposed to work constantly?I think that's part of the function. The blue light flashes once a while. A full charged battery works about 8-10 days. I charge mine every week, and then leave it close to the cat litter box. It works perfectly. The litter box is right next to my desk, but I don't smell anything of the litter.
