Lunar Tides Semi-Permanent Hair Color (43 colors) (Neon Lemon, 4 fl. oz.)

I got the "blood moon" dye, the smaller amount i think (??). surprisingly enough, despite the title container, i definitely had enough to saturate my full head, which i was not expecting but was pleasantly surprised with, given my hair is fairly long and not too thin either. i left the dye in for about an hour, it did take a WHILE to wash out completely, and i was taking a shower to do so, which got the dye everywhere, and lightly stained the rest of my body for a little as i was trying to scrub it off (not too bad the next day, though), so just be careful with that..that's probably just a user error, though. the staining was honestly not as bad as i expected, the dye seemed to be leaving a STRONG pink staining on my palms (admittedly, i forgot to wear gloves), but to my satisfaction, it actually was quite easy to scrub off after a while, and the next day my hands were just slightly pink compared to the crime scene i THOUGHT it would leave. really grateful for that..!!!!!! i am very satisfied with the color, and i think it definitely came out very vibrant and achieved what it was promising on the box (i didn't have my expectations set too high, but i got proven wrong), the dye job was only slightly uneven because *i* didn't apply the dye very well, so no qualms with that. the dye looks like it has a LOT of pink undertones in the jar and irl, but you can't see it in the pictures, but it really did come out a really nice true red on me, so i'm really glad about that. honestly, if i'd left it in for more than just an hour, i think it would've been perfect. really happy with how it came out, it felt very nice on my hair, and it came out really really great taking into account how amateur at dying my hair i, personally, am, and honestly how adequately priced it was. really good stuff 👍👍👍

Great stuff! For years I've been using only MP because nothing was comparable. I just got this product, and wow, not only is it comparable, but it's brighter and lasts just as long. In the jar, it looks like it's too dark, but it's a nice bright orange. It's cheaper than MP and the quality is just as good, if not better. I can't wait to try other colors.

I've tried many different hair dye brands, and this one has never disappointed me. I randomly decided to buy the Cerulean Sea dye to give it a shot a while ago and I was obsessedd, it left my hair feeling so soft and healthy and I swear it didn't fade after so many washes which I love when it comes to hair dye. It didn't bleed on my bedding and didn't come out in the shower. I used color oops to get to a light color overall after the green, and yesterday I decided to try the Fuscia Pink and I'm in lovee. Again, it left my hair feeling so soft and it's very vibrant. Exactly the color i was looking for. I used a 1:1 ratio of conditioner to this dye, and it still came out super vibrant. I swear by this brand :) just make sure to wear gloves because it leaves my skin stained for about a day but the stains fade relatively quickly after a day to a few days at most in my experience.(The first 3 pics are after one wash, and the 4th pic is the day I dyed it.) Highly recommend if you're looking for something to stay for a while while leaving your hair feeling nice and soft. 😎

The product went on easy and the color was fantastic! The dye didn't dry my hair out or damage it in any way. I had to use more product than I thought I would. I have really thick hair and my hair seemed to absorb the dye and soak it up. I gave it 4 stars because it also washed out and faded fairly quickly. It was visibly faded by the 4th wash. I was disappointed at the longevity of the dye.

Alright so, I am a quick shopper even online, I’ll check reviews and pictures and maybe check out a YouTube video to see a better view of the color. I however didn’t notice it was vegan, I tend to avoid vegan products because simply I have not found any that meet my expectations for what I need or expect. I understand if it’s a lifestyle/ethical choice, more power to you, live your truth: but me personally, this brand now added to the list along with arctic fox are thumbs down for me. Arctic fox bleeds non stop everywhere, seems to permanently dye anything but your hair, and washes out in about 3 washes. Now with this productPros:-it did not stain my skin, that was cool-it’s pretty thick so I did not make any kind of mess apply it, again cool-if you want like a fun little change for about a week, this is perfect because it washes out quick.-it didn’t bleed onto my clothes or bedding, or skin when washing my hairBut that’s where the pros endCons:- I couldn’t grip the seal so I used a safety pin to help me get an end up, some of the product came out on the safety pin and I saw even though it was thick, for hair color it’s fairly translucent. Red flag if you are experienced in regularly dying your hair 😩 if you want a lighter version or very temporary color it would be ideal, but for vibrance and hang time NOPE.-just when I rinsed it out, COLD WATER, and used no shampoo I could tell it was going to wash out quick, and I was right, it lasted about 3 washes total, pretty much gone after the 2nd wash honestly. My hair is not over processed or anything that would contribute to loss of color at that rate. I even use baby shampoo since it’s no harsh chemicals and honestly has helped preserve my colors better than any “color saving” products on the market.Another thing I didn’t favor was it didn’t stick to my freshly bleached roots. Again experienced hair artists know that usually will be the brightest spot, as well as bleaching helping seal color in if you do it correctly in a time period.So PRETTY MUCH if you want something temporary, or you’re wanting to test drive a color but not ready to commit; this is perfect.However if you’re looking for something that is long lasting, this is not it. May be a basic bih but I’ve been doing this for 17 years and have tried dozens of dye products and ion color brilliance I personally don’t feel can be beat. Extremely vibrant color, very minimal bleeding/transfer after coloring and even that just depends on the color, you may not get any bleeding or transfer at all. It also lasts a long time, as well as fades evenly so you won’t have splotchy hair as it fades, you’ll just go through lighter shades ofItself.
