These “Teach Yourself” books are great instructional tools. Plenty of great quality photos to illustrate and augment the written instructions. I haven’t looked up a lot of sections in this particular book yet but so far so good!

Bought 2 others before this one and they were lame. This one is perfect. Well laid out, has visual guidance and explains nearly everything in a simple to understand process. I had an old Windows 7 book from this author and it was great as well. I wished that I would have looked up the author of that one before buying the other 2. I hate leaving 7, but we are sheep. Baaaaa Baaaa.

Love these Teach Yourself Visually books. I have several of them for my various Windows programs I have owned over the years. Easy to use and you save time by not having to go into on line chat rooms to get an answer. No "uber techy" talk; just straight every day terms.Highly recommend this book as well as other computer related books I have purchased and use often.

Well this is very very basic....if youve never owned a computer before this is for you, this book doesnt even tell you all the basics like how to put program shortcuts on your desktop on page for each top and compter screen illistrated pictures to dark to even see where your suppose to push....and no in deaph tips on the window 10 features... I read it in 20 minutes....oh hummm will look good on my bookshelf....

Beutiful color, easy to read print.Simple to follow. Pictures are clear, well numbered and explanations are simple. It gives a sense of security when picking your way through Windows 10 early on. Many, many topics are covered. A good choice for someone who learns visually.

Very basic but good. I thought I would learn something different that I didn'tknow, but no. I will be buying something with a little more details and givethis book to someone who can use it.

As a Senior Citizen who didn't grow up using computers, I find understanding and using them to be confusing at times.
