Cheap Computer Ready for Home Use and Students
I bought this laptop to use the internet and to use simple apps like my Bible study app. I do not use it for gaming or other highly intensive uses. Clearly, this is not the computer for power users. However, for your basic student or general home use, this is an exceptional value. The computer has worked flawlessly, it is a nice big size, the keyboard layout is not crowded, the touchpad and buttons are very ergonomic with a generously large touch surface. The screen is as readable as any screen I have seen. Setup was simple. The computer is remarkably lightweight and would travel very well. I keep it plugged in all the time, so I can't really speak to the power management aspect.

Great battery
This laptop has an amazing battery! It holds full charge for weeks. I don't use a computer nowadays but once a month. It's so handy to open it from sleep & it's ready to go!

Works well
It looked brand new. I bought it for work and that is what it’s perfect for. I also play sims. It can be a bit slow sometimes but for the most part it works very well. Happy with it for the price I paid.Update: I’m not sure what to do with it I need to have it looked at. I’ve deleted almost everything off of it and it says I still have no space to download anything. It lags a lot and I often have to refresh my last browser because it closed out by itself. It’s okay if u just need something to go online with. I wouldn’t bl buy this for work again. Go with something a little more expensive.

Unbelievable for its price
Enjoyable screen, decent sound, fairly smooth performance (even on windows 11). Startup is fast, office apps open quickly, and I can keep multiple apps and chrome tabs at once. Finally, the battery is quite good, it won't let you down, it lasts approximately 7 hours straight with the internet, and up to 10 or more if you play downloaded content.Obviously it is not to play heavy titles, but for the university it is more than perfect. It does not feel heavy, the keyboard surprised me for the price, extremely comfortable, and the touchpad, although it is made of plastic (I suppose that is why the fingerprints are marked over time), it is also very comfortable to use.It seems that I am throwing roses at it, but for the price ($137 in werehouse) I cannot complain, I feel very comfortable with it, I would only change it for a laptop with a full HD screen, more space, and backlit keyboard, otherwise I'm even afraid that my next pc won't be as comfortable in terms of touchpad or keyboard.

Came Broken and Only Awarded 1/2 a Refund
DO NOT BUY. This taught me to NEVER to buy electronics off of Amazon again. The laptop was slow and buggy immediately after startup, struggling to even open two browser tabs at once without freezing. I tried clearing the cache, a normal reset, a factory reset it, etc. Somehow this was WORSE than the 13 year old MacBook I was replacing. It got MAYBE an hour of use (aka an hour of troubleshooting, since it was so unresponsive I couldn't get anything productive done) before it went right back into the box for a return. Cherry on top? I was only awarded HALF of what I paid for it due to the "restocking fee" associated with high-value items! A complete joke and a waste of money. Just buy direct from Best Buy or another traditional electronics store and eat the delivery fee, because at least you have some coverage if there's something wrong with the product.

Excellent Quality & Features for Under $300.00
My school district uses the Lenovo ThinkPad. I was happy with the Lenovo product that I was using at work, therefore, I wanted to purchase a Lenovo product for personal at-home use. I wanted a device that was user friendly and reasonably priced...to access websites, emails, and video conferencing...basic features. I purchased the IdeaPad on sale for $209.99 and I am extremely happy with the purchase. The device comes with the "Lenovo Vantage" (an app with numerous features), a one year free subscription to Microsoft Office 365 (Personal), Windows 10 Security, and an offer for McAfee LiveSafe security for $24.99 ($75.00 discount) for one year. At first, I found the on-screen text to appear a little blurry, however, after adjusting the "ClearType Text" this corrected the problem. So far, the IdeaPad is excellent for my basic internet/laptop needs. And, it is cute...a pretty blue color...bonus for the price, LoL! 😊

cheap hardware
Performance is good but the hardware broke relatively fast. Within the year the plastic around the screen broke at the edge and needed a costly repair.

Big Bang for the Buck$
Super nice LT. Easy set up, W10S good, nice big letters on keypad, large finger mouse area, wireless mouse with USB bud works great, very thin, light weight, to-bad NO Big SD card slot, just a mini. Would buy again, this is for my wife, now I want one, because my Chromebook no longer plays AMZ prime movies, this unit has beautiful color and resolution. Note: when setting up you will have to have a cell phone and email for code verification (easy!)
