Works very well. I've always found brightly glowing LEDs from cell phone charges and cable boxes distracting and disruptive to good sleep. These LightDims come with a wide variety of sizes and shapes, are easily applied and, other than the dimming effect, are basically unnoticeable once applied. In most cases a single piece of this thin film is sufficient to appropriately dim an offending LED although in one or two instances of particularly bright LEDs I've added a second film over the first one. I've seen a couple reviews suggesting electrical tape as a cheaper and better solution. Certainly that would work, but electrical tape is thicker, awkward to cut into small shapes and sizes as well as leaving behind a gooey residue. For $7.99 one package of LightDims should take care of all your needs and do it in a very clean and elegant fashion.

Not only is this product very easy to use, it delivers as promised. I purchased a couple of variations of this product as I needed to block out some LED lights completely while just simply dimming out others and the different variations work really really well. I used the white Light Dims on my white electronics and the black ones on my black electronics and you can barely tell they are even there. The sleek look and proper dimming means they will stay. The other thing that makes this product convenient is that there are a variety of pre-cut sizes and shapes which means you can just line up the sheet with the light and see which shape will best fit your desired electronic device. If you need to get the product off of the product it comes right off and then you can stick it right back on again. I would definitely purchase this product again and would recommend it to friends, family and everyone I know. I rarely write reviews this detailed on Amazon but this product truly deserves this review and praise. Thanks Light Dims team, my bedroom is not a disco light show anymore!

Exactly what I was looking for to use on my Netgear AC1750 router. I cant understand what Netgear was thinking, but they used these absurdly bright and white LEDs for indicators. Hello? What happened to more subtle colors? The router does have an option to turn the lights off, but I like to be able to glance over and see indicators if I feel the need. So I was looking for some translucent tape options and came across these. They're like translucent tape, almost like a packing tape. Unlike tape there is no adhesive, so no residue if you want to remove them. They can be relocated/repositioned, just don't push down too hard on the corners until you're solid about placement as they will crinkle like tape. But that can be trimmed. For the cost, even if you're curious its a no brainier. I've taken a few before and after pics too. Before the router was lighting up the corner of the room like a Christmas tree, now there is no more glare even when viewed up close. I've just applied them and love them, cant speak to how long they will stay affixed yet. My router has a couple of buttons, for those I'm trying a couple of the spots. For the cost, definitely worth a try and definitely a recommend.

I purchased these to dim the excessive tiny lights found on electronics nowadays, and they worked wonders. The nasty bright blue light on my bedroom power adapter was perfectly dimmed by this product. I appreciate that it doesn't completely block out the light, allowing me to see that it's on without being too noticeable, even in the dark. The variety of sizes included is fantastic - highly recommend this solution!

I've used this around my house and car to reduce the glare of LED lights. They work great! - First I used this on the low-light photosensor in my 2016 Ford Escape. My headlights never turned on soon enough at dusk (it was nearly dark before Ford thinks lights should be turned on). I applied one of the smaller circle stickers to the sensor and now my lights come on when it gets dark. - I've used these stickers on the back of my wifi router; computer; radio charging docks; and many status lights around my house. The stickers stayed put, and blocked the annoying flashing lights. - the larger square stickers would fit nicely on most digital clocks, however, I've not used them as the few clocks I have are not bright enough to need them. I would recommend these stickers to anyone who needs to bright block LED lights

I like to sleep in a dark room (I have this weird idea that it's supposed to be dark at night...nature, evolution, all that jazz). I have blackout shades, which got me to about 80% darkness, but which obviously didn't do anything to cut down the shine of the 15 blinking and glowing LED lights on various devices around my apartment. I was going a little bit crazy. I was about to start slapping electric tape on them but thought there might be a professionally-made product that could help, so I googled something like "device LED light blocking sleep" and was fortunate to quickly find LightDims. They're perfect. The different light-blocking levels allowed me to apply just the right Dim to each piece of electronics, so that I could still see the light when needed to evaluate device function or connectivity but so that it completely cut out the "shine". I almost teared up when I turned out my lights the first night after sticking those suckers on...literally the most sleep-conducive environment I've had in my life since I was nine years old in '89 and didn't know what an LED indicator was. I ordered these months and months ago and never used them. When I was cleaning this weekend I found the envelope with the light dim stickers and made a mental note to use them...at some point. For the last few nights I haven’t been sleeping very well, this could be for any number of reasons, but tonight as I was laying in bed trying to fall asleep, I remembered the envelope of light dimming stickers. From my bed I can see the lights from my air purifier, a sound machine, 2 fire alarms and 1 carbon monoxide detector. Yuck. In less than 2 minutes I had all of the lights covered with the exception of one fire alarm, as that would require getting out the big ladder. I’m pleasantly surprised to say using one sticker on each light made a huge difference! I can’t wait to get the sticker on that last fire alarm to see what a difference that will make. Overall, super straightforward product, really easy to use, lots of convenient shapes and...they work!

These self adhesive dimming stickers do what is expected, by reducing the intensity of LED displays that cannot be dimmed on the device itself. They arrived in a standard business envelope, 2 sheets of shapes, pre-cut. They are very tiny, and even the largest of the pieces doesn't quite cover the display. I ended up creating a patchwork design of different sizes to cover the glaring LED. But they do perform the intended function. The little pieces of film are extremely thin, but fairly tough, and the adhesiion is adequate. They do not appear reusable, as I misapplied one piece and could not salvage it after removal. In the future, I would likely buy the version of this product that is one solid sheet, and then cut my own shapes to size.EDIT: I have since purchased the whole-sheet Dim Its from which you can cut any size or shape to fit the need. I find this solution much more practical than the pre-cuts for my situation, but your needs may differ. I assessed the whole-sheet Dim Its 5 stars.
