Wonderful!
I was worried this was a reducer cap like some I had seen since the connection was so much smaller than the cap, but it’s not, it is in fact a 1/2 in irrigation end cap as described. It works SO much easier than the compression ones which are A) almost impossible to get on and B) blow off from the water pressure. I installed this in about 30 seconds with no leaks or anything! Well worth the price.

This cap works!
After having other barbed end caps blow off due to water pressure or trying to use those compression fittings that are impossible to install, this just works. Installed in 30 seconds. It's the only style of end cap that I'll ever use again.

It's a wonderful product and it worked very well.

Twist lock is key
These are really nice compared to some of the other ones out there. The key feature is the twist lock, which really secures a tight fit to the main line. I have had some pop of the end of my line that are more slip on style when water pressure gets too high. Overall great product.

Nut doesn't work
The nut won't screw onto the tubing. It just slides right on, so it doesn't do anything. I'm afraid the water pressure will push this thing off my tube while I'm on vacation. I'm thinking of cutting it off and using a hose clamp, but I might damage the barb trying to cut off the nut. Maybe I'll just toss it and use a figure 8.

Work well
These did require a filter and pressure regulator on the drip system, but work well. I usually end up adjusting them several times a year for the proper spread, but it's nice to get exactly the radius I desire.

I added an end cap to the 1/2" Orbit tubing run I set up to water a row of planters. The end cap was easy to install and so far (just over a month), it seems to be fine.
