Rycote 055364 Mini Windjammer for Sennheiser MKE400

Il prodotto va benissimo per mke400, unico problema è che non si può chiudere lo strappo perché va a battere contro il corpo del microfono. Quindi la soluzione che ho adottato io , anche per non rischiare di perderlo per strada, è stata mettere un velcro che girasse attorno al retro del microfono così da fissare il rycote.

You have to put this over the black foam that comes with the Sennheiser MKE 400. Otherwise it will fall off. I also found it works best with the normal setting on the Sennheiser mic. The wind filter setting removes a lot of base. A good windjammer that fits well and is worth getting.

Sieht sehr professionell aus, passt auch genau auf den Schaumgummischutz und das Rycote Fähnchen schmückt auch wunderbar den Windjammer. Da der Schutz ja explizit für das Sennheiser WKE 400 entwickelt wurde, zumindest nehme ich das laut Beschreibung an, hätte ich mir von den Entwicklern doch einen kleinen Praxistest erwartet. DENN: Der böse, böse Wind kommt leider nicht immer nur von vorne, da funktioniert der Windschutz einigermaßen, sondern erlaubt sich auch von hinten und noch dreister, einfach von der Seite zu kommen und dann trifft er mit voller Wucht auf das ungeschützte hintere Mikrogehäuse und dieses überträgt das Geräusch 1:1 auf das Mikrofon, super! Hätte man bei Rycote ein paar Quadratzentimeter Fell auch für das Gehäuse geopfert, hätte man einen echten Windschutz, so ist es leider so gut wie unbrauchbar. Aber vielleicht spendiert mir Rycote einen kleinen Flecken Fell und ich nähe mir das selbst zusammen.

Not good - only had the microphone 2 months before getting rid of it as the Rycote made very little difference to wind noise - I award it 3 stars as I have other windjammers on better microphones that do a wonderful job - possibly more of a microphone bad design than the Rycote.
