Great for the Gas service engineer. Small enough & comes in a carry pouch.It is not heat resistant as the "rate features" questions, but wasn't expecting it to be. It is waterproof & thick enough to protect work surfaces and of a manageable size.Just wipe it clean, also has slots in the mat for putting round awkward positioned pipes etc.As a bonus the carry pouch can be used for somewhere to drain an awkward condense trap as its water proof. Draw string bag stops any spillage.

You can't go wrong with this. Not just useful for plumbing it could be used for decorating, working on your car or even gardening.
