Should have tried this first.
I went through several different attempts of cleaning out the line from my kitchen. It does allow access from an outside wall behind the kitchen. I tried chemicals, a 25 foot hand snake, pressure washer directly in the pipe for 15 minutes, none of these worked. Came across this wonderful device, had it in hand 2 days later and it worked perfectly. I’ve since been using it every 3 months as preventative maintenance to avoid any further blockages. 1/200th the cost of a plumber.

Everyone Should Have One Of These - Works Great !
Bought this a while ago. Put it to use yesterday. Wow. This really works great. Slow draining sink now sucks down water. Amazing. Highly recommended. Tips for use... 1) Buy this size for vanity sinks (sink you brush teeth in, etc.) 2) Get standard garden hose. 3) Get faucet adapter with male thread for faucet and male thread for hose (such as NEOPERL 571493 at Home Depot.. if your faucet is smaller ID thread, you may need different part number). Getting faucet adapter is critical for success if you are supplying water from inside house. If not, run a hose from outside spigot into house, but this is more difficult and should involve two people since you should slowly turn on water supply and make sure drain cleaning bladder remains fixed in drain pipe. 4) If faucet aerator removed to install faucet adapter has buildup on it from water deposits, put it in a cup with vinegar for 30 minutes or so to remove deposits before reinstalling. 5) Before inserting drain cleaing bladder in drain pipe, remove sink drain stopper lever assembly below sink in drain line (probably need to do this to remove sink drain stopper anyway). Leave out when purging drain line, making sure drain cleaning bladder covers open hole (because if not, water may come out during unclogging process). 6) If you see lots of hair / gunk in drain that can be removed by hand, remove it wearing thin plastic gloves and throw it away... forcing down the drain might work, but probably not a good idea. 7) Slowly open COLD water supply (do not use hot water supply) and let drain cleaning bladder do what it is designed to do, letting it run for a few minutes to fully flush line and push everything down stream. I was amazed at how well this worked. I am going to buy a larger one for shower drain line. I highly recommend this product for those with slow draining vanity sinks.

Good Tool, Good Price
I saw a unit similiar to this when my plumber was clearing a drain line in my home. It worked very well. I purchased this item to reduce the call-in cost of $75.00 and labour costs of $45.00/hour, minimum 4 hours. Price difference is substantial. The unit only works when completely inserted into drain line. Mine burst on the second use, as I did not have the unit completed inserted. It swelled at the hose connection and with the use of hot water and pressure, it broke. I still have a larger unit which works very well and I intend to purchase another "Small" version. Good Tool, Good Price.

Incredibly fast fix
This device cleared the drain in under 10 seconds. This is a kitchen drain in an old structure so the pipes are a bit corroded on the inside and smaller than today's standard. The rough interior causes some kind of buildup and the drain backs up on a fairly regular basis. This time, I did the baking soda + vinegar + hot water, then we ran two different kinds of snakes through it to no avail. I ordered this little device based on the reviews and it worked like a charm. We took the screen off the kitchen sink window and fed the hose through there. I stood outside manning the water spigot while my son fed the bladder into the opened up drain pipe. I turned on the water very slowly at first and then went full blast. My son heard a kind of clanking noise and the drain was open. We let the water continue to run for a bit just to make sure and to really flush things out. In the past I had to resort to a plumber and it really took a bite out of my bank account. No more. Sorry Mr. Plumber man. I send a big thanks to whomever designed this device.

Works perfectly
It has saved me a lot of money. Had a couple plumbers look at my clogged tub and both wanted to charge me $250 to $400. One plumber from a "reputable" stated he could not fix the tub issue and he was the plumber who caused it, when fixing another issue. Bottom line, I fixed it myself free with $8 bladder (already had bladder). I am not a plumber. The professional plumbers wanted to charge me upwards of $400. Giving me over explanations of the mechanisms with in a tub drain, how they cannot use a snake and have to do all this "technical" BS. It works great and is a great price. You can use it for common drain clogs.
