Works great as a replacement for the OEM cable on a Viore Portable 2 Screen DVD Player from Walmart (about 10 years old).

Okay, I bought this to connect the DVD unit to the sub woofer in th-m505 and it worked perfectly. Also, we lost the remote in the move so, I ordered a remote that was suppose to work. It did not work so, I ordered a rockville 20 band EQ (runs approximately 70 here ion amazon) so, I could fix the EQ manually. It worked great and its in a bedroom so, only using it in stereo. If I connect it with an optical cable from the TV output, I get 5.1 but, can't adjust the EQ so, I'm going old school. LOL It sounds great and I'm glad I was able to save this from the junk yard. Hope this helps.

This was a gamble as the fitment was not clear on particular models or equipment that it would fit but it did fit our vintage Sony TV.

After having some misadventures with a cable it was recommended that I try this one. The price here is quite steep compared to the Amazon.com U.S. price but I decided to go with it anyway. No misadventures with this one. It arrived the day before my big performance and it did the job so was well worth it.
