Rubber Piggy Bank Pink, 1 EA

These little piggy banks are so adorable! Excellent quality as they are made of a durable, kid-friendly rubber material. Perfect for teaching about saving money. I purchased two for my two youngest and two different styles came! One is of the pigs head looking straight ahead and the other is of the pigs head turned to the side. I will post pictures when the kids open them up for Christmas. My only complaint, and it only has to do with storing this toy at the warehouse, is it came dirty. The box reveals most of the pig so if you drop it on the floor and it gets moved around it will pick up surface dirt. I assume it will clean up all the way though I couldn't make sure at the time I had to hide it quickly when one of the kids came in the room! I highly recommend this item, it's a good buy!

It was surprisingly difficult to find a sturdy, non-breakable piggy bank for my 3 year old daughter. She had a ceramic one, kept out of reach on top of her dresser. Naturally, she decided to climb up and get it, and knocked it down and broke it in the process. We got a stuffed animal one at Target to replace it, but the lid at the bottom broke within days, so we were looking for a replacement again. This one is perfect. It fits all her coins with room to spare. It's adorable. It's not too easy to open, but not impossible either. And, most important, it's going to be just about impossible for her to break. She likes having a bank that she can pick up and play with, and I'm happy I won't have to replace this pig any time soon.

We have these sturdy piggy banks where the kids can reach them and put their money in and take it back out. They are nice hard plastic that will last and not break. And they are really cute! I keep ceramic piggy banks up higher as not to be broken. But I wanted my kids to have the opportunity to learn about saving their money in their piggy banks and not worry about it being dropped on the floor and broken. We had a few cute battery operated piggy banks in the past that didn’t last. I wanted an “old fashion” and simple piggy bank to teach about saving money and this was perfect and also adorable! My kids put change into it whenever they find a coin now. Perfect.

I buy these for my grandkids and DIL paints their names on them. Super cute and the kiddos can play with them while saving their money in them as well!

Ceramic piggy's don't last long around 3 yr old's. This rubber one will work just fine. She's getting it for Christmas along with the little book The Original Story of the Piggy Bank. I know she will love it. The little piggy is so cute but even when she carries it around like she did her other one, it won't break. Big enough to hold a lot of coins. The slit is big enough to put a couple of coins in at once. The stopper opens and closes easily. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Bought this to replace a broken MLP bank. This is great for my 3 year old who is kinda hard on toys and playing. Would be good for younger ones too, since its plastic. I bought her a bank when she started getting interested in coins (around 2 1/2yo) and just asked her to put them in her bank. She doesn't put them in her mouth at all and either plays or collects coins wherever she can. She can unscrew the bottom which is the only downside so we have just tried to get that on as tight as possible which has worked so far. Seems like a sturdy material and will travel well when she wants to take it in the car and stuff. The scarf is cute, but didnt last long before it was removed. kids. Not bad on the price either, its a decent size and will grow with her. Would recommend or buy for presents in the future. Good product and we are happy with the product so far.

I had to order a piggy bank quickly because my daughter's plastic one fell and broke. She really wanted a "pig" piggy bank so after reading these reviews I decided to try this one. She adores it and we turned the scarf into a bonnet so it's easier for my daughter to put the coins in. My daughter happily said "she looks like Red Riding Hood!" I'm surprised at how sturdy this piggy bank feels too! I expected more of a "squishy" rubber but it's hard enough that it feels like a toddler toy! I got this today so I'm not sure how long it will last, but I have a great feeling about it!

I was looking for a piggy bank for my son, who at only 18 months, would destroy almost any bank I found fairly quickly. I wanted something that would be cute, but also practical. Right now, he just likes that it's a cute little pig, but some day when he understands a little bit more about money, I look forward to showing him the value of saving. All the while, he can play with it and I have no worries that he will (or even can) destroy it. Our piggy had a few black smudges on it that came off with a little lemon oil, but other than that. No complaints. I wanted the coins to be difficult to take out, so it didn't scare me when other reviewers said that it was hard to remove the coin cap and that you had to shake it just right to get them out. We did take it out and it's not difficult for an adult, but impossible for a small child. I would definitely buy again!

Nice little pig rosy and chubby with a scarf around its neck. The 4 yrs old girl I gave it to really like it. I bought the book which makes children understand about money and the importance of priotirizing in order to save and not to always give in to one's pleasures and purchase impulses. Both piggy bank and book are a good and intelligent combination .

This pig is pretty big for a piggy bank - I did check the dimensions but was still surprised when it arrived. It is made of a rubbery-plastic and very durable and cute, particularly the neckerchief. The kids love it. The only issue is the stopper in the underside of the pig (for removing the treasure) is quite easy for little hands to open and I can see it getting lost at some point.

Pros: elegant, very good construction and with more capacity than expected Cons: a bit on the heavy side and the cavity inside does not prevent coins from entering the legs. A couple of quarters actually got stuck down one of the legs making it very dificult to get them out. Overall: would definitely buy again and recommend it to anyone looking for a piggy bank. Very classy and my 2 year old daughter can carry it around without fear of it falling and breaking.
