My guitar skills run somewhere between campfire guitarist and whatever is a little better than that. I play in spurts, so my guitar may hang on the wall for months at a time without playing, but the coating on the strings keeps them fresh for a very long time. I only have to change out every six to eight months. The guitar sounds really nice with them...a good full sound without being too bright. They stay in tune after a few initial stretches and re-tunes. The coatings also make them easy to play. They cost a little more than some sets, but I change them a lot less than I do with uncoated strings, so the extra cost is worth the trouble, IMO.

Wonderful strings. They have a soft touch to them and they resonate a great tone. These are some of the best strings made for a 12 string guitar when you really want a quality sound.

My go to strings for more years than I can remember.

The E high (1st) string broke easy. I still gave it 4 star because maybe it is user error and the other strings are nice. The little string was the whole reason why I bought the kit. It was a gift.
