Really good but also pricey
I needed something stable and fillable for Neumann KH120a monitors. I think the stands are great. Totally stable and they even look cool. I filled them with baked playground sand (fyi it made the place kinda smelly for a few days) and there's no ringing at all. I like how they have the different chambers inside. I wish they were adjustable but they happen to be at the perfect height for me in a mixing situation, which is how I use them. The speakers sound fantastic on them and I was really surprised at the amount of improvement. Some cons: I don't think a 2nd set of stands would fit right next to these (like for a 2nd set of monitors), the legs would get in each other's way but I could be wrong. Also the tops are kinda small. It's fine for a KH120a but for instance a Presonus Eris E8 XT or Yamaha HS8 might be too big for the top platform. And that's a shame because I think the stands could handle those speakers just fine otherwise. Also the way the feet are means I can't get the back of the speaker as close to the wall as I'd like. I suspect it'd lose stability if the design were different so I'm ok with it. Overall, if I had the bucks and needed another set of stands I'd likely get these again.

Standing Tall & Looking Great
I recently purchased this product ie (Jan. 2025) after returning a pair of speaker stands that were constructed of cheap pressed wood. These bookshelf speaker stands are constructed of Aluminum & are designed to hold a decent amount of weight. The cable management built into each stand is exceptional. The top plate has four rubber mounts which are excellent & do absorb vibrations a speaker may resonate. You really get what you pay for with these speaker stands. If you want cheap then that's up to you, but if you're in the market for great quality bookshelf speaker stands then these may just be the ones for you. Each tower stands @ 36 inches in height & have a solid heavy base plate which comes with rubber feet. If you're going to purchase these stands make sure you know the exact weight of your bookshelf speakers & dimensions. I personally recommend this product & I'm glad I spent a little more for something that's going to last for years.

Mcuh more substantial than the pictures suggest -- superb product
Excellent speaker stands. Very well made and easy to assemble. Even the bolts for assembly were very high quality. Exceptionally sturdy. I have large Pioneer Elite bookshelf Dolby ATMOS surround speakers mounted on these and they are very stable, even on carpet without any additional ballast in the column support channels. Easy to pass wires up through the base and column to the top. Decorative scallop design of speaker platforms a nice touch. Feet have smooth tips for hardwood floors that can be easily removed to reveal spikes for carpet. Extremely pleased with these. Worth the price. Highly recommend.

Very solid build, works great for me
I'll start this off by saying the 3 legs make me a little nervous, especially considering my new room has a slightly sloped floor, although I could alleviate it by placing sand inside the center of the stands. I would assume the 3 legs is to make it easier to place the stand whichever angle you'd like, though I'd still prefer a 4th leg. These are quite heavy in their own right, but I imagine they'd be even more so if you fill them with sand to make them more sturdy--they're already rather study to begin with. The rubber isolation pads on the top can easily be removed, they just pop out of their sockets. I mention this because of their size and shape, they might not be adequate for the way you rest your monitors on them, in which case pulling them out then putting full size isolation pads on top would suffice. They're a little pricey, but because of the build quality and robustness I think I'll get my moneys worth for many years to come.

Nice sturdy stands
Nice sturdy stands. I added pebbles to the column for weight and stability. These stands are not adjustable which makes them solid, rigid, and limited in their application; its a trade off. I've bumped into these stands multiple times and they never fell over, very good.

Excellent speaker support at very reasonable price!
Super-solid and super-stable speaker support even before filling the central post with lead shot and concrete mix. Very good looking in a way that doesn't call attention to themselves but also doesn't detract from the speakers, or the rest of the studio/listening room. Great flexibility in providing a choice of sharp carpet-piercing spikes or hard rubber feet by retaining or removing the hard rubber covering over the spikes. Rubber bumpers on the top plate hold speakers securely without marring their finish and provide some decoupling from the stand. And to top off this well thought-out design, even with the large chamber filled with damping/ballast material, there are two channels available for running speaker cable and for amplified monitor speakers, the power lead separately. You could spend hundreds more for "audiophile" speaker stands that are no more solid and certainly less well designed than these. The Nerds service and fast shipping and great price made this an excellent purchase.

Pillars of strength
Now THESE are speaker stands! I filled them with sand (no leakage!), and they are rock solid, holding my 25-pound Quad 12L active speakers with no wobble of any kind. Each plate, both top and bottom, is fastened to the pillar with four countersunk screws. Everything is designed, engineered, and machined beautifully. The top plate pads hold the speakers securely and isolate them from the stand and floor. No need to use tippy foam wedges any longer. Yes, these stands are very expensive, and I really had to stretch. But if you truly value your speakers, like I do my vintage Quads, don't attempt anything cheaper than these pillars of strength. Concrete blocks would be better than some cheaper stands I've tried before.

Ultimate stands are the best. Have owned the older types, these new designs are very good. Lots of de-coupling for your speaker. 36inch is a perfect height for project studios, mixing environments etc. The 45 I would place more behine a console or mixing desk.

Best speaker stands I’ve found at this price but I would say they are even better than stands costing much more. These are truly excellent; all metal construction. Parts fit together perfectly. Very sturdy. Correct height. Cable management tube. Capable of internal media for added weight, quality rubber isolation pads and feet. Honestly, these are really impressive quality and look great too. Win!

Very steady, stable and nice looking stands. Quick and easy to assemble. For better stability good to add some silica sand. Posts have a special compartment for it. Posts high enough to stay behind chairs (for back speakers position) Check prices, since they fluctuate. I purchased it for a really great price and happy with the purchase. Rubber bumps on the top plate hold speakers well, but I also used blu tack for better security.
