The picture really enhances the detail of the bottle, but I was shocked when it was clear glass when it arrived. That was my oversight that the alcohol was making the pretty color in the picture. The decanter itself is clear.

I spent hours looking at Skull and Crossbone Decanters before i settle on this one. Its a nice shape, feel substantial when you pick it up and looks great on the bar. I bought it as a gift for a friend who's really into the whole Pirate, Halloween, and Skulls thing. He was so impressed with it Christmas Day. I personally think it is a little pricey at $66, but as I couldn't find anything similar anywhere I dug deep and bought this one. I'm glad I did. I would recommend.
