L R Liquid Rubber Color Waterproof Sealant - Multi-Surface Leak Repair Indoor and Outdoor Coating, Water-Based, Easy to Apply, Beige, 5 Gallon

This stuff is amazing. I needed to waterproof an old wooden deck that was leaking through the plywood into my house below. Took about 2.5 coats to get a sold seal and all gaps sealed. I used a paint roller and just really lathered it on thick. Spreads nicely and creates a nice thick seal. Took about 2, 5-gallon buckets for about 150 SF. Did minor touch ups with a paint brush in gaps and corners. Washes off easily with water. Takes a full 2+ days to fully cure. Very satisfied and will buy again.

I had a deck roof built about 8 years ago, and many of the 2x4s rotted. I replaced the bad ones with new, and I painted 2 thick coats of liquid rubber on top of the deck roof. It’s been a year and 1/2, and it looks like new. I can see the top from my 2nd floor, so I can monitor any weather damage, but rain just beads up and blows away with wind. I think it’ll last a long time, plus I was able to get the liquid rubber in beige, so it matches almost perfectly. I wish I had known about this product when it was first built. AMAZING PRODUCT!!!

Easy to apply. Easy cleanup. Used it to coat pressure treated wood that will be in contact with the ground and forms the base of vegetable planters, so being safe for plants and animals is paramount.

We used Liquid Rubber Color Waterproof Sealant on our deck, which showed evidence of leaking when it rained. After just one application of 3-4 coats, the leaking was gone and the deck looked great. To ensure a continued waterproof barrier, we subsequently applied several additional coats. The sealant is very easy to apply with either a brush or roller, and dries fairly quickly. The choice of colors is also nice, and eliminates the need to apply an additional color coating over the sealant. To date, we are very pleased with this product and the results.

Nice color, looks good but after 2 weeks I went back to do a second coat and when I stood on the roof my shoes kept feeling sticky stuck. Not sure why 1 coat 2 weeks later would be like that.
