The unit replaced one that simply wore out after several years of use. It is easy to attach onto cans, and the large handle allows for easy turning. It is able to be cleaned thoroughly as well after use. I found the quality of the unit to be very solid, the weight is good and the lids comes off smoothly every time.

FINALLY!!! I bought at least 5 can openers last year. None of them were worth a dime. I started researching reviews and found the this OXO had good ratings. I wish I had started reading what others were saying before I wasted so much time and money trying to open a can. By far, this is the best one I have purchased. I have had it for about 6 months and so far it is working great.

Such a good peeler it's so sharp you have to be careful as it did cut top of my nail off but wouldn't be without it, the can opener is taking me awhile to get used to it but that might be my arthritis hands.
