Already had a one of these, but purchased a couple more for my friends. These make fantastic gifts. They are very pokey! An easy to use weapon that you hope you will never need, but will feel more confident when you have it. It's the kind of quality item that you expect from Cold Steel.

Very light, pointy and strong. Easily concealable in a sock next to the calf/ankle area. Good grip and hand feel. The pointy end is triangular in shape. It bears repeating that this is not a cutting weapon. As a thrusting/pointy-ended implement to use in self-defense (assuming you can draw it fast enough) it would most likely "do the job".
