Decorative Decoy Carvers Ultimate Painting & Pattern Portfolio, Series Two (Fox Chapel Publishing)

This was supposedly used. It looked unused to me. I opened it up and there was a duck carving magazine article from the 80's so I guess at least someone opened it up. Great book, drawings, tips and pictures will defiantly help me carve one.

This is a must have if you are carving decoys. The colors are represented and the patterns are really helpful in creating accurate decoys. This is a book every carver can benefit from.

Burk is one of the best and his work on diving ducks is excellent. I have made several decoys using his templates and notes on decorative painting. I highly recommend this reference to anyone who intends to try carving decoys.

This book had everything I was expecting from it. Love it. Really good value for money, the patterns are good. If I did have a moan it would be about the binder in the middle of some of the patterns, it just takes a bit longer to get a pattern out. Saying that more than enough patterns to keep someone busy and there should be more books like this.

Great book!... Especially if you are painting decoys and need a visual for feather placement, and colors.

This is a great book,with lots of detail on painting of the different birds. Has paint color information on the different body parts of the birds.

This is the second time I’ve purchased this book, the first one didn’t have the paint guide for the redhead drake, so I bought a second one and pages 35-42 repeat. the scaups are in it twice.

Very up set that series one is out of print. I'm at a loss why it is. These are two Excellent books for decoy carver.
