Awesome
The item arrived on time. And it looks awesome. I saw one reviewer leave a one star rating because the handle broke on him after a few days use. It's dang good hammer head if the handle breaks, no sweat off my back, I can always buy a new handle. It's a thing of beauty.I put hocket tape on the handle. This always gives my tools an ergonomic feel.First few days of using this hammer is surprising. Just a normal sledge does fine, but there's something magical how it feels with the impact against stone and chisel. You know that force, that impact is going just the way you want it.It's not just my hockey tape that does the trick with the ergonomic feel. the shape of this hammer's head, and it's weight distribution just feels right, where as my sledge was good. It really was. It did the trick. But by comparison... it just doesn't seem to compare in my view.I write this review, knowing that a bell hammer from Trow and Holden has yet to arrive tomorrow. I'm looking forward to the comparison, knowing this hammer will still bze in my frequently nsed arsinal regardless. I'll update the review when the time comes. But my sledge has just gotten permanently retired.

Edge turns to mush
The sharp edge turns to pudding after 10 strikes to limestone. Was working on splitting a limestone rock but within a few strikes the sharp edge looked like it was made of butter. This is a big disappointment, will go for a carbide tip next time.
