Dashi is essential to get that authentic flavour. This one is very mild flavoured, but does the job.

Omg I love ramen. It’s my favourite dish and I obsess over it constantly. Feeling down? Ramen will fix that! Getting my period? Don’t worry, ramen is the cure (and chocolate). Feeling sick? Nothing like a gorgeous sexy bowl of beef brisket or pork belly ramen! But who has the time to keep finding a local tonkotsu or wagamamas? Urgh I certainly DO NOT. I can make a quick fix bowl in an hour and it can taste like I got it in a restaurant with a big help to this shirodashi!My method for the broth is I buy the wagamamas ramen set, but their broth is basically just chicken stock- what the heck?? I could just put a stock cube in instead of buying a packet. So I pour to taste this shirodashi, red or white miso paste, soy sauce, and sometimes shoaxing wine or honey if I made it too salty on accident. The broth will literally taste just like a Wagamama broth! And the shirodashi is the main star of the show for helping to get that taste!Completely recommend and you only need a little each time as it’s a strong flavour. It truly lasts ages so it’s a fabulous addition to your ingredients cupboard and good value for money. If you are a true ramen lover like me, BUY THIS PRODUCT!! (And don’t do what I did one time making this and accidentally trap honey under a saucepan and nearly breaking the stove 🤣 don’t tell my parents)

Good flavour, very versatile as can be used as a marinade, dip (with other ingredients). Great in Miso and stir-fry or just plain with noodles and steamed-veg 👍
