ISSUE: Here is my issue with this charger. I cannot use it on my night stand. The frequency of the wireless charging element pulses and it is audible to those sensitive to high pitched sounds. So laying down in bed, when its quiet all I hear is this faint high pitched pulsing sound until the phone and or watch is fully charged. Its not hugely noticeable during the day, those gifted with good hearing could find this to be an issue, so I figured I would share. PROS: Other than the above issue. This charger is phenomenal. Fastest wireless charger I have owned. Obviously slower than a wired charge but the time difference is not that huge at all. This is a great little charging plate. Powerful wireless fast charging for both a phone and a Samsung watch. The charging plate magnetically centers the watch so no fiddling required. I wish the phone side of the charger was a little more forgiving on phone positioning, but that could just be a limitation of the phone. I do not know. Samsung watch owners: I own a Samsung watch 3 Titanium and with the metal band this charger will not work because the watches included metal band is a semi rigid loop and cannot lay flat unless you wish to ruin your fingernails every night disconnecting your band from the watch face. If you run a more standard 2 piece aftermarket leather band (like a Barrow band) the watch and charger work flawlessly. For this point I do not blame the charger but the watch band and myself for buying the watch I bought. Though, the titanium version is so light. I do not regret a thing ;)

A good price due to being a slightly older model. One advantage is it comes with its own power brick so you don't have to have one/or buy one separately. Made for Samsung products: The primary pad will charge any brand/product that supports wireless charging but the watch half is shaped specifically for Samsung smartwatches and may or may not work with yours if it is a different brand. So easy to use and charges fast (9w). It's not the fastest, but for the price it's pleasingly quick. The best thing about wireless charging in general is you don't put wear and tear on your phone's irreplaceable USB port when charging.

The Samsung Corporation made a fairly good device for their mobile device and wearable wireless charging platform. Unfortunately, if the mobile device (phone, tablet, or large device) is not placed well on the charging unit, no charging or inadequate charging results. This is good for mobile phones and devices that are squarely made and easy to charge (i.e., no shielding cases nor awkward accessories should be used with the mobile device). While I have more than one Samsung device and Apple device, this charging unit is okay for most respects.

UPDATE: This does charge through cases. The only reason it didn't charge through my wallet case is because it has a magnet, which disrupts charging. So did the metal on my case with a ring on it. It has charged through every other case I've put on my phone though. And boy is it fast. Both my watch and phone are fully charged in a couple hours, and I don't put them on the charger until they're under 15%. I got this only because I was tired of having a cord for my samsung active2 and my samsung phone. This holds both and of course has the two indicator lights for each device. Red for charging and green for charged. The description said it charges through cases so I tried it with both of mine. It didn't charge through my hard case, but that might be because I have a ring on that one. But, it did charge easily through my wallet case. I plan on buying a new hard case without a ring on it and will update on whether or not it charges through that one.

It says fast charging, but it does take a while to charge the phone. Does not seem like fast charging. So I timed it. from 70% to 100% it took over 1 hour to charge and I don't see that as fast charging. Plus the phone gets hot when charging this way. When I use the super-fast wired charger it is Super fast and the phone never gets hot. Not that impressed. And my Galaxy Watch 2 does not charge.

I was very skeptical about purchasing this because of the reviews that I had read on here but this samsung charging pad is AMAZING! It is so easy to use and it charges BOTH my s21 ultra and my galaxy active watch without and problems. I love that it also charges with a fast charging adapter so everything gets charged quickly. Despite what others have said, I have not had any issues with having to place my phone or watch in a specific spot.. it literally just charges automatically when placed on the charging pad. I also love that it is not bulky and fits perfectly right on my nightstand. Having this has made it so easy and convenient to be able to charge both my phone and smartwatch and keep them charged at all times. I am very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend this to anyone!

This charger does not work. It worked for one day. The first day I was able to charge my watch so I could get it up and running for the first time. The watch's battery doesn't last as long as advertised - - it only lasted 30 hours. So, between setting the watch up and using it for a total of 1 day, I needed to recharge it. This charger wouldn't work on only the second time I tried to use it. It stopped working/charging within less than a day after receiving it! I was only able to use my brand new watch for approximately 30 hours. BACKSTORY: I purchased a Galaxy watch 4. THE DESCRIPTION CLEARLY STATED THAT IT CAME WITH A basic charger included. The basic charger was not in the box when my watch arrived. I searched Amazon for the basic charger which lists at $29.99. It is not available through any seller. It's also not available on Samsung's official website. The Galaxy watch 4 requires a charger that has to Qi technology. The previous generations and styles of galaxy watch chargers do not have this technology and will not charge the Galaxy 4s. You must buy charger specifically designed for Galaxy 4 watches. Thus, I was forced to buy this overpriced duo charger in order to use my new watch. It feels like a contrived effort to suck more money out of the consumer! Why are there no basic chargers available for purchase when these watches are brand new and not compatible with other previous generation chargers? I repeat: you can't just go out and buy a third party charger because of the Qi technology. You can only charge your Galaxy 4 with the official Samsung charger that has the new Qi technology. You can't use other Samsung chargers that are used for previous model watches - they don't have the same technology. Believe me I tried this initially!! What a disappointing experience with both my purchase of the watch and my purchase of the charger. These watches are not cheap. I spent a lot of money only to receive my new watch and not be able to use it. Then, when I received the duo charger I charged my watch and used it for one day. When I went to recharge the watch on day two it wasn't working. Man! I'm really rethinking my choice of watches. I don't know what Samsung was thinking between bad battery life, bad battery charging products and a scarcity of their basic charging products. I should have gone with my first choice of the Fitbit Sense, which can do everything this overpriced watch can do for a whole lot less money.
