Was Fun at first, but needs better base plate and hose.
First of all I have a young (light weight) son and daughter, of whom I purchased this for. They loved it, at first, but it did come with some issues I thought I should mention. The packaging was decent, and had enough protection to survive the trip. The first thing I noticed out of the box is that the foam rockets are smaller than expected, but they still work as desired. The second thing I noticed is that the plastic hose that connects the pump to the launch pad, was bent and had kinks in several spots. I thought at first that it would probably have caused a small hole, but that wasn't the case thankfully. I applied some heat (hair dryer) to the plastic tubing to soften the kinks out, so that it would create a steady air flow to the launch pad. It helped, but would slowly bend back to its original shape (when boxed), which is kind of irritating. I'm considering replacing the tube with something from the hardware store. Now, my biggest issue with this is the pump base plate. After about 10 minutes of watching the kids use this (on grass), the rockets would no longer launch. I checked the lines thinking there was a hole. Turns out that the base plate screws all popped out (with the plastic threads attached) and the plastic base was cracked underneath. Its either very poor or just a thin plastic base. What I had to do was get out the duct tape and layer it to reattach the base together to make it air tight. Now it finally works as it should. So it cracked when using it on a soft surface? I could understand if it was concrete why the force would crack it easier. I wouldn't get this again if I had the option though. Kids will enjoy it until it has something else go wrong with it. That's why I rated it 3 star, it was ok, but not really worth the hassle again.

Pre-Used?
We purchased this product because a neighbor/friend has a similar one and my daughter LOVED using it. This set appears to be more durable than the one we used before but theirs definitely launched higher than ours!! NO WAY will this ever reach 100 feet, let alone 300.However, the tail fins have stayed on these rockets despite a cat carrying 1 rocket off, and a child not so gently placing the rockets on the launch pad. The only drawbacks are that the ball is as firm as a basketball, way more firm than what we were expecting based on reviews. We purchased this for our 5 year old with Down syndrome who is learning how to stand on one foot. Not sure if this will work for that purpose, yet. Right now we're having an adult push down w both hands (think CPR) and she puts her hand over ours to help launch it.Also, the stick to place the rockets on was damaged when we opened the box. I am concerned that it will start leaking air rather quickly and we'll have a big problem! Manufacturing problem or was this item returned???

Fun little toy
A nice little gift for my nieces and nephews, they enjoyed it while it lasted. They were a little rough on it, though.

What a blast! Kids love playing with this!
1st off, kids love playing with this! I set it up the 1st and now they handle it, they are 4 and 6. There is no way, even with me jumping on the air pouch, does it go 300ft. I mean not even close, the product should not say that at all. NOW it does go pretty high maybe 50-60-70 feet but 300, not a chance. I took off a star for the false advertising. The hose is not well made and cheap, it goes from the blaster part to the air puch, it hasn't broken yet but was very kinked and does not really come un-kinked, this impacts the air flow. Overall the quality is cheap, but does it work, yes it does. The rockets are just simple foam darts with plastic tips. Don't want it to hit you in the eye, obviously, but they look fairly and feel fairly harmless.I would buy this again or give it as a gift. I may try one of the other brands of the same type of rocket. So far we have spent a fee hours using this thing and its enjoyable.

Fun to use...though constuction seems cheap for the price...
When I opened the packaging, I felt that the construction of the item itself was cheap, given the price. I think thi would be more of a $10 item. The plastic was a lot lighter than expected. We finally took it to the park and was very happy with the performance. Despite it's cheap construction, it held up very well. We loaded the arrows and jumped and stomped on the pad, watching th arrows fly high. 250 feet....definitely not...more like 100 feet ro so. But fun non the less. I still feel a $10 or $12 price would be mre appropriate.

Great toy for hours of fun, even in small yards!
My children love this jump rocket! All the kids in our neighborhood are now begging their parents for one. While it's fun to play with the kids sometimes you need a break and with this game the kids can play without adult help so you can sit back and relax while you watch the kids playing! The rockets go as high as a 4 story building, they go straight up and straight back down within 10 feet of where they are launched so we can let the kids play in the backyard without having to worry about them landing in the neighbors yard! The rockets are soft foam so it does not hurt if it lands on you! The kids also learn to control how high the rocket goes by how much force they put on the bubble by either stepping or jumping on it.After several hours of playing with this, the foam legs on the base started to bow from the kids pushing the rocket on. This did not effect the rocket from launching but my husband said it was an easy fix by attaching a little rod to the legs.

Inexpensive, Fun Gift
We were pleasantly surprised with this rocket launcher. We had a blast launching these foam rockets with our 3 year old granddaughter ... bonus was she burnt off a lot of energy running around retrieving the rockets. They go amazingly high and, being foam, are harmless but easily carried by the wind. It's best to launch in a wide open area where they won't get lost and there are no roofs or trees where they can get caught up. The company sells replacement rockets if any are lost. A lot of fun!

Not very sturdy, but fun enough
We brought this for use in the local park.Pros:It is easy to transport as it folds up nicely.Rockets go quite high even with my 4 year old doing itCons:One rocket lost it's fins on first use, others have been fine.Launch pole has to be removed for transporting and this is a plastic thread, I can't see this lasting very long when connecting and disconnecting.

Well worth the money
Bought this item for my grandson and he loves it. The height it shoots up is well impressive. He couldn’t stop playing with it. As a child or adult you will have hours of fun.
