Redify Weighted Jump Rope Review: A Solid Choice for Intense Workouts
I recently tried out the Redify Weighted Jump Rope, and overall, it’s a great addition to my fitness routine. Here’s my take on it:Design & Build QualityThe jump rope is well-built, with a sturdy feel that makes it ideal for intense workouts. The 1LB weight adds just the right amount of resistance to make your workout more challenging, which is great for those looking to boost their cardio or build endurance. The aluminum handles are durable and provide a solid grip, even during sweaty sessions.PerformanceOne of the standout features of this rope is its tangle-free design. Thanks to the ball bearing system, the rope moves smoothly and rapidly, making it perfect for high-speed workouts like MMA or boxing. I found that it didn’t twist or kink, which is a big plus when you’re trying to keep up the pace.I’ve been jumping rope for a couple of years now, and these ropes are exactly what you need if you’re serious about your workouts. After watching a lot of jump rope influencers, I finally understand why they swear by weighted ropes—you get great results and really tone up. I’d recommend this to anyone from beginner to intermediate levels.Adjustable LengthThe rope is adjustable, which is handy for people of different heights. It was easy to customize the length to suit my needs, and the process was quick and straightforward.Rope MaterialThe rope itself is made of a combination of 9MM fabric cotton and solid PVC, giving it a good balance of flexibility and durability. It’s thick enough to feel substantial during use but still light enough for quick, consistent jumps.OverallThe Redify Weighted Jump Rope is a solid choice for anyone looking to add some intensity to their workout. It’s durable, smooth, and easy to use, making it great for both beginners and more advanced athletes. Whether you’re into boxing, MMA, or just trying to lose weight, this jump rope can help you achieve your fitness goals. Plus, I got mine the same day I ordered, which was a nice surprise.Rating: 4/5

ok rope, but highly inefficient
as a now avid jump roper, I can say that this is a decent beginner rope but far, far from an efficient one. Not to get scientific, but the fact that the rope is fabric/cotton means that it doesn't fare particularly well against the air as you whirl it around. i only discovered this after switching it out for an all rubber rope of the same weight. the fabric meets so much drag from air resistance that it renders the exercise quite inefficient. the positive to this is that while inefficient, it doesn't mean ineffective, since the inefficiency means that you're forced to really work out your wrists, forearms and shoulders, which I suppose is a weird backwards silver lining to it. But having switched to good rubber weighted ropes, I gave this one away as a starter rope to a friend who's just getting into jump roping, and even he after a few weeks has purchased better ropes for the same reason.
