Hmm, Whaere to begin. First impressions are great. Love the versatility and if you're creative enough it's a real time saver. The item itself is reassuringly heavy and nice in the hand. Accuracy seems good so what's not to like I hear you say.Well the coating (Paint???) is what's not to like. I'm only a home gamer not a site worker so my kit gets gentle and infrequent use. After what was the shortest love in ever the paint started to peel off with no agitation or rough use what so ever. The tool itself was stored away after it's maiden voyage. A week or so later I took it out and in several places the paint had started to peel. I should quantify these aren't impact chips... it's just coming away.As it wasn't the cheapest angle tool for a non pro to buy I feel decidedly let down.

This square isn't
Absolute arse. When making a square there's one thing you have to get right, and that's making it actually square. This isn't. The plastic part that butts up to the workpiece is bolted in place and it has a couple mm of play which makes it absolutely useless. If you're a woodworker looking to making dimensionally accurate pieces, then do not buy this. If you need something for rough carpentry or plasterboard, then also do not buy this because you're paying for it to be square. Doesn't come close.Such crap.

Not Cleverly Done and will not last for long
Wonderful and excellent product for accurate linear and angular measuring and marking. It is made of strong Aluminium covered with (I guess) anti scratch protective coat. Very good addition to my multi measuring woodworking tools. I bought both lengths the 300 and 500 mm.Now after about 3 months of careful use, I find that the angles are no longer 90 Deg which upset me too much. I thought Wolfcraft Brand is good and reliable but I was wrong.

IT IS RUBBISH!
I’ve had this a couple of months but have only just used it for the second time “despite no severe temperature issues at this time of year” and yet you will see by the photo how inadequate the paint is which means you cannot use it as a ruler for long just a square edge..... RUBISH for the money!

The holes for a pencil are much too large, making it impossible to draw accurate lines. Made of very soft, thin aluminum, so it will bend if you are not extremely careful.

Lovely bit of kit
Absolutely love this square. I have a bahco 400mm square which I used before this one but I wasn't happy with it as it was slightly out of square. But this one is bang on perfect, I've checked every measurement and to my delight they are all set perfectly. So happy with it, I will be using it every day for my work so it wont take long before I put its durability to the test even though i clean my tools before I put them away , goes a long way if tools are kept maintained. And I'm positive this one will last me a long long time. Very good quality , wolfcraft is definitely one of my preferred brands in regards to the smaller acccessories that makes work much more accurate and enjoyable. Highly recommend.

Not accurate after a couple of months
Casual DIYer but I know what a 90* angle should be.I used this for about 3 days when it was new and it worked great.Left it in the shed for about 6 months and when I came back to it it's now not 90* - possible due to a small amount of rust around the screws that hold on the plastic. Couldn't use it for my next project - in fact I think I'll just throw it out because it's useless if it's not square.

Why O why did I not buy this years ago?
This is a quality product and will last a lifetime. It only uses cm and mm, which I like because I was taught metric in the 1960s and prefer it. The small holes allow me to accurately draw lines or mark a point. I am tired when I work of judging it because I am seeing from an angle and then finding I am a millimetre or two out. There are many other features built in which I will discover as I use them. The size is perfect. It will work well with work done on a portable bench for instance. Now, I wonder if they sell smaller ones to add to my collection, say 30cm and 10cm. I would also like to see them put this scale, with holes, on the top of a hand saw which until now was my big set square.
