10 Oz Canvas Duck Black, Fabric by the Yard

I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

I ordered this canvass to repair an antique Palestinian dress, which is of indigo dyed canvass. I opted to buy black canvass as the blue of the dress is almost black. The canvass I received is the perfect weight for the dress. However, much to my surprise, the canvass was NATURAL COLOR, not BLACK. OOPS1 Not to worry. Had I known that you stocked canvass in natural color, I would have ordered it. I will now dye it the required shade of blue/black. You need to pay better attention to orders you receive. Note to amazon, How can I rate durability of fabric which has not been used yet???

It's thick, heavy canvas of a very nice red color. I used it to make a red corset for my daughter's Mary Poppins costume. It came out beautifully and required no boning. Obviously I didn't lace it tightly on my 3-y-o, but if someone wanted to make a real corset out of it, it would be great for that - it doesn't stretch and it's very dense and structured.

Good quality and sturdy canvas for making musette. Will buy more in the future.

Not the best value, but the product is solid and the black is very black, not an off black like many others. Shipping is way too slow however.

Generous cut perfect weight/texture fabric for my project

Needed this fabric for 15 waitress aprons. Needed to be very durable. This was perfect! I ordered 2 yards to try it out, and the customer was so pleased, that now I am ordering 6 more yards for her!

After searching many different Canvas Duck Fabrics, I purchased this fabric because I needed fabrics for home decor sewing. I love the depth and richness of the colors, and the weight. It is tightly and evenly woven producing a nice smooth finish. I love the quality--so, I will be buying this and all of the different colors again and again.
