AZOOU Large Red Color LED Race Timing Clock Timer with Tripod 5-inch High Character for Semi-Outdoor/Outdoor Running Events

Our company was in need of countdown clocks for some upcoming races we were hosting. The reviews for this clock seemed fairly positive so we thought we'd try one out. When the unit arrived it's front protective screen was cracked. The clock itself was in working order and was used for an event a few days after it arrived. It was easily read from a distance in full sunlight. I contacted the seller to report the damaged lens and they quickly sent me a replacement clock. We are more than satisfied with out order and will likely be ordering more units.Some notes:The original clock box was undamaged- the screen was likely cracked by the included tripod that was minimally padded and could easily bounce against the screen. The replacement clock had much better internal padding and the unit was in perfect shape.I never used the included tripod, it seems ok overall but I knew I was going to be setting up on uneven ground. I believe this units tripod lacks adjustable legs so it needs to be on somewhat level ground.Some claimed that it was confusing to operate. There is a note in the instructions that the included remote is for a variety of models so not all buttons are functional. This may be the cause of the confusion but I had no issues getting to the setting I wanted.For a bright LED unit it is consumes surprisingly little power. I did a test running off a Talentcell 12000/6000 mAh 5v/12v battery pack to see how long it would operate. It ran for 35H 45M off the pack before it shut down.We have experience using race clocks that cost well over $1000. Yes they are 6" digits instead of 5" and are double sided but 2 of theses clocks are far less expensive and in many ways more functional.If I had a wish list for future models I would like to be able to link clocks together for synchronization as well as having a little bit of weatherproofing but overall this unit operates well above it's price point.

I ordered and used this timer to time presentations at a conference. The instructions were a bit vague, but I was able to intuitively figure out what to do. We used the Count Down feature for the 15-minute presentation and then switched to the Count Up feature for the 5-minute Q&A. The device kept these settings in memory, so it was easy to use during the conference. The connection to screw the timer to the tripod is not sturdy. We moved the setup once to the conference room and once back to the office, and the clear shield on the timer cracked in two places. We liked the remote and it could reach from far but had to be pointing directly at the timer. For over $200 and not completely satisfied, I returned it.

A good clock for the low price. I time races and own 3 of these clocks and the work well. Not as nice as the other two I have but I paid more for those.

Horrible Product! Does not come with batteries and broken when you get it and no way to fix it. Order from another company.,

Excellent buy. I have 2 now and they work great. Great bang for the buck. Bright enough for all outdoor application.

This thing is kind of a hunk of junk - if you can save your money and buy a nicer race clock. I needed it in a hurry and on a small budget, but this is the second one I had to buy because the first one only worked for two uses.

Bought a battery jump starter power supply and an adaptor and have been using this timer at the track without having to run an electric cord. The runners can easily see their times during their workouts, which is a big help.

Using this just as a count up clock for a 5k race. very bright numbers with accurate time. frame and stand seem a bit flimsy and need to ensure this is in a well supervised area or on the table top - so it does not fall down or get 'smashed'. Does not come with any battery- so be sure you order a battery pack (i'm using Antigravity Batteries AG-XP-10 Multi-Function Power Supply) if you plan on using this 'cordless' such as at a park.
