OtterBox Commuter Series Case for Galaxy S21 5G (ONLY - Does NOT FIT Plus or Ultra) - Black

This phone case is the best I've ever used. For the first time ever my phone isn't broken after a few months of use.

As said in the title, "I'm very clumsy". I don't know how but I was born with butterfingers. This case withstands the constant drops and slips. I have stuck with the Otterbox brand even with my pervious phone and I can say I love them each time. Maybe I am a creature of habit, but I've tried other cases and they aren't the same as the way Otterbox makes theirs. I love that there is a charger port cover. My husband didn't have a cover on his and now the charging port won't take the charger and he is bound to the wireless charger. I believe this case has helped with that because the cover part exists. It folds out when you charge, holding up the charger instead of the ability for it to bend when you watch endless videos on your phone. The only gripe that isn't really a gripe in my book, is if I drop it one too many times the outer shell will crack. Two things about this statement: 1) I keep my cases for as long as I can which is usually about a year and some change. Which in my book is still a win in my book. 2) Remember, I'm clumsy so I drop it a lot. Any normal person, with NORMAL wear and tear will probably have it way longer than me. Which is why I still chose to give it 5 stars because for the price and the duration of its life for me is still a great win. All in all, of course I will be purchasing again.

Good quality and fit well

This case fits my S21 fine. Protection is good. Noticed a couple things after buying several of these... They last about one year. The right upper area, around the volume buttons, slowly swells outward and at a point is pretty open, requiring replacement. My last one did that, along with a piece of bottom right plastic shell breaking off. Still, I like it's slim profile so I keep getting them!

Solid case, already proven its worth. Got it for my Mother as a replacement for her old one and it has survived a fall already.

Great delivery service

I will often get these when on sale or at discount stores, simply because they aren't worth the $30 and I can't say no to a deal (got my last one at a "bin store" for $7). I've had 3 in the past 2 years, somewhere between 6 and 8 months the upper right corner of the rubber starts warping I use it for another couple of months till it starts impacting my ability to easily use my side buttons. And about the time I notice the warping I notice the thin plastic near the charger port is snapped. Its sturdy for drops hence the decent rating. I don't know if I'm just unusually hard on them that they wear so quickly or if it's just how they are. Either way if its discounted or on sale I grab it they do a decent enough job at protecting my phone, they just don't last long enough (for me personally) to warrant full price or really anything over $15-20. The case in the photos is probably about 6-7 months of use, though its been the same for the other 2 I've had.

The rubber layer fitted perfectly when first bought. After 2-3 weeks under sunlight and Australia heat, the top right started to expand and the case no longer fit. It still provided some protection but not 100%. Replaced with another case and forgot this existed until now.
