STONETECH High Gloss Finish & Sealer, 1 Quart/32OZ (946ML) Bottle

I import entire containers of custom marble fireplaces, statues and various architectural items. When it comes to marble items my customers either want the stone in a honed or a higher polish..the problem with many of our statues and mantels is that the carving is so intricate that it is impossible to get polishing pads in all locations. Since trying to keep a uniform polish is impossible in these scenarios I have experimented with various products (Mostly all DuPont after buying a cheap alternative) to give the marble a higher gloss. I was using marble enhancer but it was expensive, if not kept at the right temperature it got a yellow tint and only offered a semi gloss that faded rather quickly (About a month when in constant sunlight). When I came across this product I tested it on a wide range of different colors and this has now become one of the best products we are working with. I highly recommend it to any customers wanting a higher polish after install. Along with the high gloss this product also acts as a sealer so you have an added layer of protection. Bang for buck I personally believe this is one of the best products on the market. The only negative thing I can say about this product is that it is recommended that it not be sprayed instead applied by brush, I have not experimented with the spray but it would be helpful to be able to hook up to a gravity sprayer to make the application process much faster when we have multiple items to work on.

I used this for a slate backsplash in my kitchen. It brought out the colors, added a glossy shine, and put on a coating that protects against stains. Before using it, every time the kitchen rag rubbed against the grouted parts of the backsplash, sand would come loose and grind underneath plates or glasses on the granite countertop. The slate tiles were also dull looking to start with. So, before applying the Stonetech High Gloss Finishing Sealer, I scrubbed everything with a tile cleaner and brush. Then, I brushed three coats of the Stonetech High Gloss Finishing Sealer onto the slate. I let it dry between coats. Now, everything is sealed under a protective film so that no sand comes loose and grease doesn't get into the stone. The colors in the slate really pop also, especially with accent lights underneath the cabinets.

I am using (or should say was going to use) this on sandstone bases that I was mounting copper sculptures on. After 4 coats you cant tell any difference. Okay tried it again and it worked and didnt do anything different. Maybe it was the rock. Upping my rating to 4 star from 1. If i continue to get these results will change it to 5.

This product cost me $20.00,I really thought I would be disappointed but it is actually GREAT landing when u first enter the house and my stone tiles look brand new!!!! I wish I had a before picture but it was really dull.

StoneTech High Gloss Finishing Sealer for Natural Stone, Tile, & Grout, 1-Quart (.946L) Please do not buy this crap! Here are the reasons why: 1. At the time of purchase (and this review), nowhere on the page does it say that this product is for interior use...not exterior. Buried somewhere in the text on the back of the product is where you're see the mention "Interior Use" 2. Likely related to above, but this thing basically doesn't work at all on flagstone tiles. Please look at the attached image of the flagstone in our front patio; one half has had 2 coats of this product applied to it, the other doesn't. Can you tell which is which? Nope...neither can I (that picture was taken after 48 hours of curing) 3. We bought three bottles of this thing. As mentioned above, two of them were used to apply 2 coats. However, the third bottle turned out to be rubbish. Once again, please look at the attached images. Instead of it being a pure white liquid like it was in the first 2 bottles, this one was all 'gunky'. The texture was like jelly suspended in some liquid. For reference, the first two bottles were shipped and sold by " Terrazzo & Marble Supply Company " while the defective third bottle was sold by "Woodside Distributors". It is entirely possible that this seller is selling old/expired stock 4. This is probably my own fault having seen that the third bottle was defective, but I went ahead, poured/scooped it into our sprayer hoping that thoroughly shaking the contents would 'mix it up' and get the job done. Nope...after sputtering a little bit, the (defective) product completely clogged up our sprayer. I dismantled the whole thing trying to see if I could clean it out, but the 'jelly' just clogged out every single opening in the sprayer nozzle, tubing and remaining mechanism (image attached) 5. To top it all off, Amazon wanted me to 'return the product' for a refund; I had to empty the whole thing out into a bowl and effectively 'scoop' it back into its bottle Although point 4 was my fault for even trying, you have been warned. At best, this product is wholly ineffective and at worst, it's utter/complete/total crap. Lesson learnt.

Bought this to put a shine on some cool rocks, work well.

I Purchased this to put on my backsplash subway tile. I wanted a glossy/glass look so I purchased this based on the description. I followed the instructions and put it on my tiles, waited for it to dry, and it looks exactly the same. Didn't alter the look at all but, I am hoping the tiles are sealed at the very least.
