I had purchased a different book on DMSO, but it just was not as informative as I would have liked, so I purchase this book. This book has more information than you might be looking for if you simply want a few "recipes", but if you want in-depth information on the science and actions of DMSO as well as case studies for different ailments, this is your book.

DMSO is the Swiss Army Knife of Home Remedies.Here is an excerpt from another article to give you an idea. "DMSO is an intermediate product of the global Sulfur Cycle which distributes bioavailable sulfur for all animal and plant life (Parcell, 2002). Sulfur compounds are found in all body cells and are indispensable for life, they are needed for a number of chemical reactions involved in the detoxification of drugs and other harmful toxins, and they have potential clinical applications in the treatment of a number of conditions such as depression, fibromyalgia, arthritis, interstitial cystitis, athletic injuries, congestive heart failure, diabetes, cancer, and AIDS (Parcell, 2002). [...] This article scratches the surface while this book takes you in depth and up to date. Please note that reads "40 pharmacological PROPERTIES" meaning that each property would have multiple applications . . . and that is is just what we know so far. It's usefulness is truly phenomenal.This book does an excellent job of covering current understanding (Published December 17, 2015) of this organic solvent's ubiquitous uses. It opens with sections on the Physical, Chemical and Pharmacological properties to lay a foundation of understanding of how and why it works the way it does. Then the book covers various therapies used by doctors, holistic practitioners and the like. Some of these techniques should only be used by qualified Doctors (Intravenous techniques for example) while most others are simple and easy to use for the layperson. There are about 100 pages devoted to various ailments that have responded to DMSO therapy. Also sections on DMSO for animals, supply sources, dosing overview.Also on Amazon there is an excellent product of 1 gallon of 99.995% DMSO for around $37. It is so pure it lessens the garlic taste when you apply it in my experience.

Product delivered on time and packaged well. Great book, I had already read DMSO The Persecuted Drug which at the time was super. I ordered this one and wow, takes DMSO to a new level and tells you more of what it can do.I'm a believer in its miracles. I blew my ankle apart with a cutting torch years ago, burning my nylon sock, shoe and jeans. I screamed so loud that the fireman across the street adjacent to our demolition site. He came over and carried me down from the roof structure that I was cutting down. Unable to walk on my right leg, a worker asked if he could put something on the open wound so that I could go back to work. We had no insurance at the time and had a deadline to meet. I let him pour some DMSO on my burn, we didn’t do anything to the wound as far as pulling off the burned skin nor did we pull out the burned pants or sock. He put the DMSO on and put a clean gauze on and then I walked! Something I couldn’t have done just 10 minutes ago. The fireman was impressed saying I would surely need to go the hospital. I have no SCAR today in that burned out area and all the skin is normal and has regrown all skin that was blown away with the cutting torch. Really interesting and well written. The only thing that I would change is having the amounts in American instead of metric.

This is a reference book that was exactly what I was looking for.However, if you are a non-technical person whose eyes film over when you hear terms from medicine or chemistry, this is not the book for you. Although the author tries to define unfamiliar terms for the reader, the book is probably over the head of a so-called “intelligent layman.” In particular, the book starts out with a “chapter that covers DMSO’s interesting history, its astonishing physical, chemical, and pharmacological properties, as well as its safety as a natural medicine.” Although he knows that most people – even professionals – will skip this section, the author urges you to read it, saying that “doing so will give you a deeper understanding of the biochemical processes in humans and animals that DMSO gives rise to. It may also help you to reconcile and build your own personal link between theory and practical application.”The rest of the book is devoted to “practical application techniques and administration methods, as well as to the various symptoms and illnesses that can be successfully treated using DMSO.” Although my novel application was not specifically covered, I still have high confidence that it will work, based on the general information contained in the initial chapter.
