Omg, this smells amazing! However, it is a stronger concentration of vitamin c, so if your skin or rates easily be aware. I was using a lower dose and built upto this. I love the way it makes my skin feel. I would not waste my money on another more expensive brand.

This really works. I can't imagine what would work better, though I've never before used any Vitamin C products. I have used really expensive retinols from Blue Mercury and other expensive beauty stores upon physician recommendation when compared to prescription retinoid prices. However, I wasn't prepared to spend over $100 dollars on Vit C serums based on the idea that I would get reduction of my hyperpigmentation. I was skeptical of the idea of dark spot reduction by a non prescription non physician recommended serum, but wanted to try due to the online hype. So, I researched the best ingredients and carefully selected this brand. I had a $20 budget at the time, but the price for this product has since gone up. The con of this product is that it is in a droplet bottle which can more quickly contaminate due to oxygenation. However, airless pump Vitamin C products are rare and expensive. Also, I find the consistency to be way too oily for my skin type.I started using this serum in June 2024 and started to see significant results by August 2024. It is now November and one side of my face looks like I'm wearing foundation, in pictures. Just in case you're wondering how I use it, I will say that I used it once per day in the morning after cleansing and toning, and before a sunscreen of 20-40 spf. I only use moisturizer around my mouth as this area of my face is always dry, but the rest of my face is very oily especially in the summer. I've not been a big spf person in the past due to oily acne-prone skin, but upped my spf game, going from spf 20 to 30 once I decided to work on my hyperpigmentation problem. The hyperpigmentation is not completely gone and this serum does nothing at all for my ongoing acne which keeps me from getting ahead on acne scarring. However, I can see real results 5 months after starting this Vitamin C and will continue using it if it remains low priced. If the price continues to increase once I finish this bottle, I may begin shopping for an airless pump Vitamin C serum in order to ensure the product remains effective until I finish the bottle.

I had a friend tell me about this years ago. I was complaining that no matter what face make up I used… I would end up with white head or dry patches or something. She suggested I used this at night. But instead, I use it after washing my face in the morning and before I apply any make up. I let it air dry, which it does quickly, then begin applying my primer or face make up.I do not use more than a quarter's size. Dropped into my cupped hand, then I rub it all over my face. Super easy to apply. The smell dissipates quickly. If it is sticky, that may be what causes my make up to adhere so well. All I know, is I have not had a white head or dry patch or a single thing in five years. I never, ever apply make up without applying this first.In fact, my face seems to hold my make up much better. As in, I will come home at the end of the day and my make still looks like when I left in the morning. When I am not wearing make up, my skin now feels so much softer... Like baby skin. Fortunately, this product cost pennies to all the others on the market and is very pure. I hope they stay around forever, because I am never giving it up!

I tried this product due to hype. I have one that is exactly I mean exactly the same ingredients so I am comparing. This is stickier. Also has a chemical smell which isn’t alarming and goes away. I feel this formula is thicker but not hydrating in any way. There are better Vit C out there. This was meh. Would not repurchase.

I bought this vitamin c serum on the general recommendation of a doctor on IG that’s a skincare enthusiast, and I’m so not sorry that I did. The price was right for me, as are the benefits. I knew this serum was legit when I first opened it. It smells like an L-AA vitamin c serum. After using it for the past month, I definitely know it’s legit.It has significantly helped lighten the post inflammatory pigmentation I get on my face from hormonal acne, or acne caused by using the wrong product, as well as picking at my skin (aka dermatillomania). I’m Black, which means my hyperpigmentation is very dark brown and lasts forever if not taken care of properly.I’d been out of the skincare-as-self-care loop for awhile, and allowed my skin to get really bad. I was having the hardest time keeping a good regimen, especially after purchasing a 3 times more expensive vitamin c serum that broke me out horribly. This much more economical Skin Deva vitamin c serum has been one of my life savers, along with a Curology tretinoin prescription (that I haven’t been using as often as I should) and weekly spot applications of the MUAC Fade Peel (which also works wonders. Don’t forget to apply sunscreen daily if you’re going to use any acids on your skin).I’ve been applying this serum almost every morning after I wake up and wash my face, and it’s been working so well. The other day I looked closely at my skin and was shocked at how quickly my PIH has been disappearing. Don’t sleep on this serum! A little goes a long way as well.Also know that vitamin c is one of those serums that sometimes takes months to show results if you don’t have any obvious skin issues. It’s a powerful antioxidant that you should always have in your arsenal, along with daily sunscreen application.

I ordered the product the first time and it was fine. So I re-ordered the second time when I ran out and I received it when I opened it I realized that it was orange. So that means it’s already been oxidized so it’s not any good. I didn’t know what it meant at the time. I just thought it was a different color. So I will not be ordering again.
