New Home AC Adapter Power Cable Wall Cable + CAR Charger for SONY PSP PlaySatation Portable

I bought this for my kids psp, after the charger that came with it from Sony quit working after less than a year. You can definitely feel the difference in its heft-this one is lighter and probably less sturdy-but it also comes with a car charger, which Sony does not provide with the purchase of a handheld.I was a little worried after reading other reviews online about the cheap make of non-oem chargers, but I'm happy with this for the price. It works fine and is a fourth of the price even including the shipping costs, and even with the less sturdy build, it only has to last a year to be better than what I got from Sony.On a separate note, I also use a psp charger for my Sony E-Reader...and this one works with it as well. No charger (other than the usb for transfers) is included with Sony E-Readers, if the battery ever goes completely dead you HAVE to buy one as USB won't charge from dead-and to purchase one separately is $20.For anyone looking for a cheaper version that does exactly the same thing, this is the way to go.

If your looking for a OE Sony PSP home or car charger this ain't the charger for you. This is a cheap knock off that works just as well as the OE Sony PSP charger and i have had no problems with it at all, it works great both in the home and in the car just have to be careful the cord on both chargers is very thin and if pulled to hard or pinched could break. Other then that if you looking for a cheap charger to get you by then this is a good buy, you get a home and car charger and they both work well. But if your thinking your getting a top of the line charger for the price your paying think again, your getting a cheap made wall and car charger that will only last as long as you take care of them.

I purchased this as a replacement for my lost unit. As the title states you get what you pay for. I give this item 3 stars out of maturity and because it kind of works. The main adapter wires are paper thin the wall outlet cord I had to replace with my playstation 2 outlet cord because 1 both prongs are thinner than average, and 2 they are both the skinny prong instead of one oblong, so it falls out of the outlet. The wind from my dogs wagging tale blew this plug out the wall. It's built cheap but it works, do not buy this product if it will be for a child. Trust me they will rip the cables the first day.

It seems to charge the psp without trouble and has not set my house on fire, or made my PSP gain sentience, to my awareness, so i can't really complain bout it.Feels light, and cheap...Also feels like it may spontaneously combust at any moment. If it does, will update... As of now... Has worked seamlessly, and flawlessly for over a year.

I made the mistake of going cheap and I regret it. The "transformer" is just a plastic shell made to look like the original and the plug doesn't fit snuggly into the power jack so you have to fiddle with it laying on a flat surface and then walk away slowly or it will lose the connection. Don't even think about charging it while you play.Just pay a little more for something better.

I needed another charger and saw this one that included a car charger, so I couldn't resist. I was very happy when it arrived and it is true Sony PSP charger, sometimes they are compatible, but not from the same brand. This is and it was an super buy.
