Very easy to set up and work with
Outstanding product. Easy to work with, simple to cut and shape. Worked perfect! Also compatible with larger blocks for younger kids, so it can grow with your child! Really nice product!

Perfect! Worked Great! Easy to Use!
These are great! We created an activity wall in the preschool age Sunday school classroom of our church. The activity wall included a metal area for magnets, a chalk board, and a lego-type section. We chose the grey baseplates for our wall. They arrived quickly and were very easy to work with. The adhesive is very strong! Some baseplates had to be cut, but we followed the instructions carefully and had no problem cutting them to size with a utility knife. The kids absolutely love the activity wall and each week the lego-type area is loaded with kids building out from the wall. We found that the baseplates fit lego brand bricks perfectly, even duplo and mega blocks. We've had some trouble with the off brand (duplo size) bricks we purchased, some fit great and some just don't. I doubt there would be much problem using an off brand brick if the kids were building from a table top. With building from the wall, gravity is working against the bricks, so those that don't fit as tight just fall off the wall. Though the preschoolers don't seem to mind. I would highly recommend these to anyone who wants to build a lego-type wall or turn anything into a lego surface!

Easy to Use! Creative solution!
I bought these to make for a table that was high enough for 6YOs as a gift to friends. I regretted that the "ready made" table I bought from a reputable kids brand was getting too short for my own 6YO. There weren't reasonably-priced, well-constructed tables for older kids (which is silly since kids beyond the toddler age are really the ones who can apply Lego instructions and truly build), so I did an "IKEA hack" with these. My friend wanted a storage solution, so I found the perfect table with interchangeable bins (IKEA Flisat series), and I adhered these base plates on top of the bin covers (see photos). The instructions were very clear and helpful, and we ended up using one 10 x 10" plate plus 8 rows of another plate so they could sit perfectly on the bin lids. (This idea works for those who don't need a huge Lego surface and need a multi-purpose table). That way, when the lids were flipped over with the plate-side down, the Lego plates fit within the bin, making for an even surface for other table uses. I was quite proud of myself. The product was well constructed, easy to cut/snap-off (we followed the directions, using Lego pieces to ensure alignment from one plate to the next), and the Legos fit perfectly on them. The adhesive back was very convenient. I drew some marks on the lids of the table after careful measurement, and stuck these on. Highly recommend! We even had leftover plates we'll use for our own wall, just for fun.

If you are looking to stick base plates to a surface, this is far and away your best choice!
I was recently working on a large project and needed a lot of these plates (20+). I purchased mostly the Creative QT plates with self-adhesive and some larger (15.75 X 15.75) plates from another company without the adhesive and I wish I had just purchased all the QT plates. The Creative QT plates come with very descriptive and helpful instructions (with pictures) for both cutting and adhering the plates which made attaching them very easy. The adhesive is very strong and once applied will not come off (so get it in the right place the first time =)). I was adhering to vertical surfaces and this worked very well! Using a box cutter worked well to cut the plates. The other brand plates I purchased were functionally ok, but the lack of self-adhesive was a serious drawback. It took two attempts to get them attached and having to use clamps and other forms of pressure left the boards un-evenly attached/warped and it is difficult to attach larger lego pieces to them. I did not have this problem with the QT plates, easy to attach just peel and stick! The owner of the company was great as well, providing additional learning materials by e-mail after purchase, and following up after delivery to ensure I was satisfied.

Great Product! Made a great brick building table!!
I made a Lego table for my son for this Christmas and just finished building it and thought someone might like some instructions on how I did it. We purchased an IKEA Lack coffee table first, the dimension of that are 35 3/8” L by 21 5/8” W and I bought 2 packages of the Peel ‘n Stick Baseplates (4 green for grass & 4 blue for water). What fits edge to edge length wise on the table are 3 full baseplates and a half of 1 baseplate. I stuck down all 4 greens then 2 blue baseplates then I took a blue baseplate and figured out where to cut it. Turns out exactly in half was correct (16 bumps on each side). I lined it with Lego bricks and on top of a wooden cutting board, scored along the bricks with a utility knife. You need to push down and go over the line a few times then it snapped easily on the scored line. By far the trickiest part is getting the baseplates stuck where you want them. Once they are stuck, they’re stuck. It’s helpful to have a few Legos on hand to make sure you’re lining the baseplates up correctly. Of course I managed to be about an infinitesimal fraction of a millimeter off where one green plate meets up with a blue plate and the Legos are a bit tricky getting them connected on that line but I don’t think my 6 year old will notice! When putting the half baseplates on, I ‘LEGO-ed them together’ with the full size baseplate and stuck them at the same time to make sure they matched up. I had one blue baseplate left over and stuck it to the bottom shelf on the coffee table. The baseplates do smell a bit, which is the adhesive but seems like the smell will dissipate quickly. These were exactly what I was looking for!

These are awesome
This adhesive baseplates are awesome! They stick extremely well and Legos fit on them perfectly. If you read the instructions they give helpful hints on how to best measure and cut your baseplates before placing them. We followed those instruction and had no issues at all. I did remove one star for this reason; these do have an extremely strong smell when you first remove the paper backing. I get migraines from certain scents and this definitely triggered one. If I were to need to stick these somewhere again, I would wait for a nice day so I could do it outside or at least be able to ventilate the room. We did not allow the kids to shut the door their Lego table was in for at least 24 hours because the smell was strong. After a day the smell disappeared though and there is no lingering issue. Maybe a ventilation suggestion would be helpful on the packaging. Overall a great product though that does what it says it will do.

I am so pleased with this product
I am so pleased with this product! 100% worth the price and the quality is superb! My husband and I purchased two sets of these for a lego table we were making for our boys. They were so easy to apply. I was worried it would be more difficult, but they went on the table quickly and easily. I was also worried they would not stick well and come off, but they adhere very well and we've had no problems with them coming loose or undone. My boys had been building away all their creations on their table and it works wonderfully, the baseplates fit their Lego's well and we've had no issues whatsoever. This is a great product and I would highly recommend it, you won't be disappointed.

Perfect for a DIY Lego table
These pieces attach very well. Be careful when you are sticking them down, because once you place them, they are glued there. We bought them to go with one of the cheap IKEA tables to make a Lego table. It worked out perfectly. Four of these makes a perfect table and it was over $100 cheaper than buying a premade Lego table.
