Great buy. No instructions so had to read reviews to figure how to use it. Turn to left to set, to right to open. Good buy for a 7 year old.

My daughter received this as a gift and it’s an adorable, well-made journal. Our only caveat was it doesn’t have instructions on how to open or change the code. Maybe this is common knowledge to some, but this was a new style for us. To unlock it at first we did 000. To change the code push the unlock button on the left to the right, while holding it there enter the new code, then release. That’s what worked for us!! Hope it helps someone else :)
