This is the second pair I’ve owned. I wore the first pair for two seasons and some of the traction got worn down. I’m a women’s size 10.5 and got the L-XL. Takes some effort to stretch over my shoe, but they stay on well. I live in Colorado and wear these often for trail running and hiking. Pretty lightweight, I just keep them in my pack during the winter. Put them on, take them off depending on the terrain. Worth the price for sure!

Yaktrax with carbide studs (along with a carbide-tipped hiking pole) are the best way for a senior citizen to stay upright outside with the thaw-freeze cycles we've been experiencing. Get the largest size to work with boots. Solar Bugman

These work great on snow and ice and even on icy hills! We had a "nice" freezing rainstorm that left us 1/4" or more of ice on everything. The sidewalk and driveway were treacherous! With normal boots, I uncontrollably slid down the driveway. With these on, it was like I was walking on bare concrete! My wife and I were able to walk the neighborhood with the icy sidewalks using these and we never slipped once. They do make a little clicking noise when walking on the bare pavement areas but walking in them is just fine on ice or without ice. I would not wear them inside as they will likely mark up your floor.

Fit boots well. Stay on the boots and are holding up well over the past few months of use. They work well. Every once in awhile your foot will still slide on the ice but it doesn't slide far before the spikes grab. I would have given a 5 star rating but have found these cheaper at Dunhams since I purchased them.

Order bigger than you think. My shoes size is 8.5 women's but my daughter who reccomended these said order the larger ones. They fit. I do need to make sure they're not slipping off. I don't know how they would be if I was actually hiking in them. I only really use them to shovel my driveway that's on an incline. Zero slippage! I can shovel with confidence & get it done without being as worried about slipping.
