Does it work well if you push hard? My go-to pen is the uni-ball Deluxe Roller Ball 0.5 mm, which is fantastic if you have a heavy hand. This one?

I have been using these pens for years. Everyone that borrows one of them from me, wants to keep it. It is very comfortable pen to write with. You do not have to push hard because the ink flow is perfect. In my opinion this pen makes it fun to write. I buy them by the box. Plus the blue color is crisp and clear.

It seems like the pens are cheaper than the refills, at least on Amazon. Do the refills have more ink than the new pens or am I missing something?

nope. same amount of ink. these pens are just much cheaper when you buy them in bulk. i don't bother even buying refills because the pen's design makes it easy to break if it's dropped. i've cracked many of the pens housings by dropping them. and the ball point leaks if the ink cartridge is exposed when hitting the floor. as long as the pen is retracted the ink shouldn't leak. however i've never had a gel pen write this good. i prefer these over the g2 pens for the smooth ink flow and less blotting along with the fact that the 207s come with counterfeit resistant ink good for writing checks.
