Great amp, small price, small size....HUGE SOUND!
I purchased this amp by recommendation from a professional installer/retail outlet. Of course I purchased the unit from amazon. He told me amazon was selling this amp BELLOW his cost. I currently have three amps in my car system. This one was for my 6x9 polk audios. I use the built-in high pass crossover set at about 100-110 hertz. About 99% of the amps out there use peak ratings instead of RMS which is what they use on all home equipment. Typically, regardless of manufacturer. they are about 1/3 or in some cases 1/5th the peak rating in actual rms. By comparison, Planet audio rates their amps at about 85% or higher in rms. For example, this amp is 1200 peak/600 watts peak per channel x two (stereo). But the rms is 485 watts x two. I have a PYLE 1000 peak/500 watt peak per channel x two & the rms is a pitiful 145 watts rms. Now figure that one out for yourself...do you want 485 watts rms per channel or 145? They are also smaller in size, cleaner in thd (.01), better in signal to noise ratio (110). All this stuff amounts to an amplifier that is nearly double or better in quality than any amp out there at nearly double the price. An added feature is a control knob you can mount anywhere in reach to turn the bass up or down ten decibels. Whats neat is that it uses a standard telephone cable that is supplied & if something were ever to happen to your original wire, any telephone cable would replace it.To put it bluntly, you would be a complete moron to buy any other brand of amp with very, very few exceptions (American Bass for example is better but BOY are you gonna pay more).

Best car amp out there for the money.
I bought two of these amps. One for my wife's car sub and one for mine. WE are both running 12" subs in vented boxes and they sound fantastic. With the warranty provided by Amazon (4 years parts and labor) it is an absolute no-brainer. Neither of us is using ours with the gain turned much past halfway point, and these amps rock our vehicles. I really don't see spending any more money than this, as I don't think you could ever hear an improvement in sound. They are truly a find. Buy one and you won't look back, We run ours for hours on end, inot a 4 ohm load, and these amps never even get warm. The SQ is fantastic..I have one question though.....Why are all these people buying these terrible speakers? All the ones I have heard mentioned like kickrs and others are absolute junk. terrible....do yourselves a big favor and buy a Dayton audio speaker......any of them...just make sure the parameters fit your use, and the volume fits your box...and you will have a new amp again, and a much better one, because until you upgrade speaker drivers, you are being held hostage by inferior speakers that you have been lead to believe are really good, and they are NOT....they are really terrible in comparison to what is available. Don't pay for the big companies' advertising campaign expense in promoting this stuff and buy yourself a really great driver to go with this fine amplifier..

Good amp for a good price!
I bought this amplifier to power 2 x 12" 300 watt RMS subwoofers, I used it for a couple of weeks and decided to return it. The amplifier is fused at 1 x 35 amp fuse. If you need an amp that will do 350 - 400 watts RMS this is a good choice, had I not needed more power I definitely would have kept it, it worked great while I had it, never overheated, or went to protect even when pushing it to it's limits. Just be mindful of what you're actually buying and you'll have zero problems!

This amp is truly worth the price!
This amp is awesome my wife and I love it we got it connected to a 12 inch kicker and the bass it produces sounds truly perfect i read some reviews on here about this amp people saying it over heats easily and goes goes into protect mode now for those of you considering purchasing this amp its likely because people are putting in an area of their car where it cant breath meaning the heat is not able to disapate away from it properly i had another amp before this one under my seat and it would overheat our mechanic told me to take it out from under my seat have not had a problem since with heat i bought this one because i wanted a new one just because it gets warm of course but what amp that doesn't but this amp we have already been using it a good while its never once overheated and the sound quality is awesome and I would definitely recommend this amp its likely truly does its job every time my wife and I go rollin

504 watts RMS
First and foremost, we know this amp isn't really 2,000 watts. There's an equation that you can plug in the numbers to your amp and really figure out what this thing can do RMS wise. Mathematically anyways. It's not really real-world results but it's close to it.Usually, you can figure out the amount of amps this thing draws by adding up the rating on the fuses. Mine came with two 25's.Okay, the equation is: Volts x Amps = Watts. 14.4 (while the vehicle is running) x 50 amps draw = 720 watts rms.Now you have to factor in the amps efficiency which is about 60-70 percent for a class AB amp which this one is. So 720 watts minus 30 % = 504 watt rms.Equations aside, this is an awesome amplifier! I think it looks really good, it's made out of awesome materials, and it kind of lights up blue. The Planet Audio logo is just plastic. The Anarchy text subtly lights up blue when the amp is powered on.I love all of the options this amp provides, I absolutely love how it comes with a remote so you can dial in the level that you want on top of your preset level on the amp itself, and it's really quiet. No fans. Just passive heating technology, which is fine! I haven't used this amp for extended periods of time. About an hour at most, and it hasn't overheated on me. I hope this amp lasts me a long time as for I'm really happy with it and I'm really hoping it stays that way!
