Great for one year old!
Got this for my one year old nephew and he absolutely loved it! The size is perfect for a one year old and the animals are a perfect size to fit in their hands. The quality is very good!

Great learning tool and cute little animals to play with.
I purchased this for my grand daughter . It was suggested by a therapist as a learning tool. My grand daughter has loved this for a few years. Her favorite animal is the mommy and baby pig that came with this set. I repurchased for a co workers little boy. It is a great gift.

I got this for my two year old on his birthday back in September and he STILL loves it. It's a staple in our toy rotation. (He puts just about anything in it lol) I knocked off one star because you do have to be careful with the ducks. The glue holding the feet in seemed to not be very good on one for them and the feet came off on one of them (they're held in my what appears to be a wide peg that's glued in.) So just make sure to watch your littles when they have it. It only happened with one of the ducks so I'm not sure if all of the animals work the same. It was probably just a case of not enough adhesive for that one.
