Lifegard Aquatics 1-1/2-Inch Threaded Suction/Overflow Strainer

I ended up breaking mine fairly quick, but I am positive it was due to using it outside of its intended application. With that being said, the item arrived exactly as described and seemed to constructed fairly well. As you can tell from the photo, the slots have considerable gap in between them, so I would personally recommend this product to be used in conjunction with other filtration methods.

When installed, this device is the last piece of filter straining that water goes through prior to re-entering the pond. At 1 1/2 inches in diameter the flow rate back into the pond from a bio filter is not significantly impeded. it's a consistent flow and for my purposes works as designed.

Good product, but a little smaller than expected.

It worked. It fits the 1 1/2 in pvc threaded pipe. Looks to be strong plastic and I dont see why it would not last for many many years.

Wish I had seen these years ago! Saves so much time and effort of stopping roots from traveling back into your rez! Buy it if you have root containment issues :)

Not too big or too small. Works for my pond.

He comprado un par de estos para un paquete que adquirido previamente "2 Pack - 1.5" Threaded/Slip Bulkhead (AM BRAND)" y el resultado ha sido de lo mejor! Lo recomiendo al 100% .. Ahora el Overflow esta completo sin necesidad de correr el riesgo de que un pez o caracol se vaya por la tubería.
