Perfect Product I Didn't Know I Needed Because No One Told Me!
We are taught to take care of our skin, how important it is. We spend hundreds of dollars on hand cream, body lotion, and face cream. But no one ever told me to give equal attention to my vulva skin. Why? Because we are embarrassed to have it, or that it might need TLC? Why didn't I just think of it on my own? Why did it take being 49 years old and going through crazy body changes for me to realize my skin needed attention? Well, I know now and am willing to tell anyone who will listen! Take care of your skin...ALL of your skin. For me it is because of pre menopausal symptoms but I am sure women of all ages and situations should be treating their vulva skin better. I without warning and without being armed with any real knowledge started to experience symptoms. First there was itching, then some burning, some pain, some odor, and eventually painful sex. Eventually in one particularly bad flair up even the slightest touch of toilet tissue was like razor blades and the gentlest of self examination felt as if I was tearing my skin apart. Over the course of a year or more I was sure I had some disease or another. And everything I was doing to try and help just made things worse! Eventually through tons of research I understood my skin was dry and frail from pre menopause but even then there was no real information that was super clear other than talk to your doctor. I finally happened upon an article that made one huge point that changed everything for me. We care for the delicate skin of our face, lips and hands...why not our vulva! Ding, light bulb moment. From that moment forward it all made sense. Gently wash with appropriate cleanser and moisturize. Seems so simple. Now mind you this is not a cure all just common sense care. And, since each of us is different we each will need different products that work well with our bodies. I us a Ph balancing feminine wash, a natural female supplement, an aloe lubricant for internal needs and vulva balm cream for the entire vulva area. As far as this specific product, vulva balm cream, it has been like a miracle for me. Within one day there was relief from the razor blade pain, within days there was relief from the skin tearing feeling when parting skin, and in a week or less healthy younger feeling vulva skin! Apparently slowly over the years I had even forgotten what that should feel like. What ever texture or fragrance issue any one talks about be damned! If you are suffering and something works it's brilliant. As far as texture it is like very soft slightly melted butter that melts even more to the touch but it glides on silky smooth and seems far less oily than you would expect. The smell is a bit medicinal, like very faint menthol vapor rub...very faint. Apply as much or as little as you need or like. At first I was using it gingerly but very many times a day, after every bathroom visit essentially. Now I liberally apply it all over the area after bath or shower time and again if I feel I need to depending on daily situations like the fact that I had actually gotten my period during my first week or so of use as well. Each of us is different I know! I am very sensitive to everything, both externally on my skin and internally as far as supplements and medications...I am a walking allergy and sensitivity poster girl! But this works for me with NO issue. No burning, no stinging, no rash, no itch, no pain. I can't believe it but it's true. I use this on the all areas of my vulva skin, just not internally. So for something like inserting a tampon or sex I use aloe but as a moisturizer for all around vulva balm cream So now I am telling anyone who wants to know. I have shared it with my daughters who are far from their change of life! Take care of your vulva skin. Don't be afraid to ask question and talk about it. It's so important, because when and if something happens it ruins every part of your life. The pain and discomfort of even simple every day things much less the intimate things can be near unbearable. You don't want the skin on yours face, lips and hands to become thin dry and cracked...so I'm betting you don't want your intimate and much more sensitive vulva skin too either.

Game Changer
Ladies this product works! I have tried so many different products for relief from the horrible painful itching burning dryness of the Va Jay Jay that comes with menopause. Seriously I am thankful for Amazon and the reviews left by so many of you that made me realize I am not alone because this particular issue is not talked about. I have found significant internal relief with vitamin key E suppositories and while researching it I saw a review for that product which recommended Vulva Harmony as the perfect combination to help with external discomfort. Now about the product - there was no discernible scent at all, the consistency is similar to honey but not sticky just nice and soft. The effect was instantaneous. It stopped all the irritation, made me feel normal, and lasted 8 hours before I needed to reapply. As people have stated a little goes a long way so the product is good value and should last for months. It is better than any prescription my doctor has given me for this issue and it is natural and contains no hormones. So don’t be scared to give it a try - it will change how you feel and give you relief.

Brings Relief, nice product for the "jay"
So like many women noted here, the change of life causes issues down below. However, mine seems to have started early, I turned 40 this year and my cycles have started to change, sometimes shorter, sometime longer, my ovulation flow is heavier and tampons (even the slimmest) seem to irritate me after a few days of use. Plus, I live in a humid climate and exercise a lot outside. In sum, the girl down below doesn't always feel good! I've taken steps to help, cotton panties, eating yogurt, unscented soaps, showering right after working out, etc, but alas, I still have issues time to time. In the last year, the discomfort, dryness, irritation and itch have increased. I've had two yeast infections in the last 6 months, both resulting in a trip to the gyno and Diflucan. While Diflucan clears it up, it takes at least 5 days, in the meantime, the discomfort is unbearable at times. I was desperate, Monistat makes me feel worse as does Vagisil. I decided to give this a try and it brought immediate relief! It soothed the area and stopped the irritation. The consistency is a mix of Vaseline and lanolin. Some have complained about the smell of the product, but to me, the smell is almost non-existent and let's face it, you are putting it on your jay...that is having issues! The cost is a bit pricey, but truly a small amount goes a long way. This jar should last for quite some time. I like that this product is all natural and doesn't burn like other products I've used (looking at you Vagisil). I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars because I am still unsure if it will prevent future issues like it claims (been using it a week), but it does bring comfort to the jay. I was NOT paid for my review, I am a loyal Amazon customer and everyday woman who has discovered a wonderful product.

Great for postpartum
This is the only product that has worked for postpartum dryness I was recommended it by a friend in menopause and assure you it WORKS. I’ve gotten my groove back because it moistures well. It doesn’t take a lot of product so I can see this bottle lasting a while.

Finally. Something that helps! Highly recommended.
At age 75 I was told I had vulvar atrophy, something I’d never heard of. Apparently as estrogen leaves our aging bodies, our intimate area skin changes and becomes thinner, weblike is what my gyn said. I was of the era where estrogen was thought to cause breast cancer. As a result I never took HRT, and I’m feeling the effects of that now. Sex was very painful. Urination was painful too. Sure I’d heard about painful sex for older women but I thought I wasn’t effected as I’d reached this age with no problems. Boy was I wrong. My gyn prescribed Premarin 3 times a week, but that hasn’t done much for me yet so I began trying every vulva area cream I could find..I literally spent several hundred dollars on ineffective lotions and potions to no avail. Then I ordered Vulva Balm off Amazon and wow what a relief it is to have something soothing to help. This doesn’t cure my thinning skin, but it does make things feel better, especially during sex. It also makes me generally feel more comfortable during the day. I keep a jar in the refrigerator for when my vulva feels like it’s burning and a jar by the commode for use after I urinate...which was also very painful. I highly recommend this product...and thank the manufacturers for creating something that is effective. Just a couple of notes. The product is slightly greasy, I wear a pantry liner to protect my undies. Also there is a scent, not unpleasant to me but a slight scent is there. Minor issues that I can sure deal with. I’ve put this on subscription as I don’t want to run out. On a recent vacation I took it and half a tube of Premarin. My trip was pain free in the vulva ares. Something Id never even hoped for a year ago.

Spontaneous Sex again! YAHOOOOOO
Relief from the burning and pain I did not expect after menopause. Why do women not talk about this other than one or two "delicately" worded ads on television. I certainly wish I looked like those over 50 beauties in the commercials but I don't. This is not a delicate issue and it is happening to a majority of women post-menopause. We speak of tampons, urinary incontinence, and men's ED but can't speak in truthful, factual words on the burning, pain, itching that drives us crazy. This moisturizer works great, has no hormones and does not have to be used every day. Vulva Balm cream does not stain or make me feel gross like some of the injected vaginal creams I've tried that cost over $100 a month by prescription. If I was to say anything negative it would be the "vaseline" smell and feel but I can live with that. This part may be edited but needs saying, it brings back the ability to have spontaneous sex again, oral or vaginal, none of the hormones or white stuff or gunky feeling. it's just so different than other OTC and prescription I have tried, you will be pleased with the product.
