Correct switch for the Makita 180mm (7") surface grinder.
Price was stiff at practically half the original price for the whole grinder. Old switch got very sluggish when released ... a bit of a safety hazard IMO. In any case PN agreed with OEM docs so at $40 I bought it. Fits and works. Now I can troubleshoot WHY the original switch releases like molasses in January. Oh, and this is grinder was used very little and properly ... the original switch just went bad.

I have two makers grinders and one has been broken for years. I finally took it apart and found the problem. The switch fits perfect and works great.

Replacement screws.
Uses metric 4mm screws which are different from original 3mm screws. Perfect fit otherwise!
