Bates- 50 pc Razor Blades, Flat Scraper Blades, One Edge Razor Blades

My wife uses a lot of blades in her greenhouses. She normally only uses them a single time to avoid spreading diseases among valuable plants. Since they are single use they don't have to be super sharp or last a long time. Price is the most important factor and these fit the bill. They are plenty sharp enough and are a good value for the price.

You need a sharp razor blade with no significant imperfections to scrape a glass stovetop without scratching it. It will be glaringly obvious. These blades combined with the Weiman glass top cleaner (it essentially acts like shaving cream - cleans and softens crude while acting as a lubricant so the razor can glide over the glass - do not try to skip this) have kept my stovetop clean and scratch free for a couple of months now. Each blade lasts at least two months but more like 4-5 because I don't need to scrape burned on bits more than once every week or two. So unless I need to scrape some other glass surface, it looks like a lifetime supple to me. Having only one sharp edge is a significant safety feature. I have razor blades with two sharp edges and yeah I've cut myself. Meanwhile, I've never cut myself with these single edge blades. Do not try to use a double edge blade in your glass scraper holder. The blades are too sharp for glass scraping, One sideways swipe and scratch city. Also, double edge blades don't really fit glass scraper handles. The biggest problem with these blades is rust. That's the fastest way to destroy them. So store carefully. On the other hand, with 100 blades per package maybe you don't care. If you use it once a month and toss, it's still an 8 year supply. I had no problems with the blade fitting my scraper. For heavens sake buy a reasonable scraper with a blade cover to prevent accidents

Yes. I absolutely love these. They are great for any situation, and are so sharp. Very easy to hold. Dulls a bit at the start, but it’s expected of something so sharp. But with the amount you can just replace them.

Good blades! I use it to sharpen pencils cut drawings. The packaging is very well done to ensure safety. In terms of fit, and ease of use…well that’s harder for me cause I’m shaving a pencil. Overall good product!

I use these for my art..trimming edges when art is mounted on wood panel, and sharpening my nupastels to a point.
