Great quality, fit, ease of use, and durability for work to protect badges and access control cards.

Does the Job
Nice-looking and sturdy holder. Minus one star because the top of the holder is so hard to remove in order to slide your badge in, plus it's heavy. I don't like the weight of it when I choose to use the lanyard in lieu of the reel. But it does the job and looks professional.

Super convenient and very well made!
At my office, we have locks that are opened with our ID cards. Using a lanyard is annoying as I have to bend over top open a door, Keeping my card in my wallet is annoying. This was the perfect solution, clip to my belt loop and my card is easily accessible to open doors when ever I need it. The spring mechanism is very well made, and honestly i did not expect it to last a week. 3 months later, with daily use, it still works very well. Can hold up to there cards and a key as well.

As Described
I’ve only had it for a few days, the clear piece that clips the ID portion came broken but I wasn’t planning on using it anyways because that particular piece is garbage so that’s not the company fault. The carabiner absolutely sturdy and doesn’t go anywhere, the ID holder is strong and very lightweight it’s exactly what I was looking for. I used the key ring and the ID holder and it’s a great combination. I purchased the white one and it’s actually Clear and it’s amazing.

Great quality
The reel and button clip make this a littler longer than I like. But I like it so much I’m getting a shorter lanyard. All pieces are great quality and I’m able to get 2 keys on the ring, and 3 credit card style IDs in the two slots. I constantly get my badge caught on my desk and the reel keeps it from yanking my neck. My badges have to be removed to use them and, I feel like this will hold up well.

I would look elsewhere...
I get that these ID holders are cheap but I would think it would last longer than 3 months with minimal use. Their warranty covers only 30 days so I'm pretty bummed about that.

Weak reel and poor holder design make this a no-go.
So I have two major complaints with this badge holder:1) There are two slots in which to put cards. One of them covers the front and rear of the card completely and uses the friction of the plastic tab inside the holder to keep it in place. But, if I only put one ID card in that slot, it feels very loose and it worried me that the card would slip out so I put both of my ID cards in the same slot. This solves the problem but now I have to pull both cards out in order to show them to anyone since one is covered up. So why don't I just use the other slot? The way it is designed flexes your card and after a few days of being in there, my ID card had a permanent slight bend to it.2) The spring in the retracting reel is weaker than I would like. I only have 2 ID cards in the holder but sometimes after pulling the holder to scan in somewhere, it will not retract all the way. For reference, I clip the reel to my front right belt loop.

fortunately a coworker found and returned the ID
Purchased in Nov failed in July. User claims she should only use Tonka Tough trade marked devices. Truth is she is an everyday office worker. Not beating this thing in the field just daily use carrying 1 ID. The compression tab on the back of the holder was the week link. It broke completely off ID fell out, fortunately a coworker found and returned the ID.Under not particularly arduous conditions this lasted 8 months. Truth is I don't know how long 1 should last but that doesn't impress me... Since I wasn't the user, I can't attest to the exact treatment prior to failure but it doesn't show signs of abuse. I'll try to add a picture later.
