They seem to work well. They seem to hold a charge when not used for some time. However their longevity of taking a charge can only be determine in time.

These two batteries presented no fitting issues. They work very well in the current charger, and in the B+D drill motor.

Works as described.

2024-09-02: As many others have noted, the B&D old tools (especially the screw driver and sabre saw) are really great until B&D stopped supplying the Gold NiMH batteries. As many also have noted, most of the batteries don't fit well (and some don't last). These are the first I have bought (probably six different supplers before this one) that fit perfectly in my B&D screwdriver. They arrived fully charged and hopefully they will have a decent lifetime (I just bought four more). I will revise my review if they either break or don't do well with recharging. Hopefully, this is the solution to years of lousy replacements.

An earlier reviewer reported that these batteries really do fit the VP screwdriver, not being too large like some of the others. Well, the batteries I received (a newer batch?) did not fit into my screwdriver (possibly a different model than the earlier reviewer).They do fit my VP flashlight, which is interesting but not useful to me, so I'm returning them.Out of an attempt to be fair, I'm rating them 3 stars since presumable they fit in some VP devices.

Needed for old electric screwdriver. Couldn't find right battery but these fit perfectly.
