DOQAUS Bluetooth Meat Thermometer for Grilling, Wireless Meat Thermometer with 2 Probes, 197ft Remote BBQ Thermometer with Smart Kitchen Timer and Backlight for Smoker, Oven, Grilling, Turkey

I bought this meat thermometer to improve my grilling. I was used to "just knowing" when the food was cooked but saw many videos mentioning specific temperatures for specific kinds of meat. I also bought these thinking they were wireless, which they are not. I have found they are easy to use; they provide accurate temperature readings on the phone app as in the base itself. They also coincide with those on a handheld thermometer. It has taken the guesswork out of the cooking and I am very happy. The price is much lower than wireless thermometers and it does the same job. More expensive units have other functionalities and I may upgrade in the future but for now it does very well indeed.

Edit: I saw someone saying the app has been removed from the AppStore in iOS. That’s true but they released a new version of the app that works with the thermometer, called DoqausLink. They should have let people know though but it’s not unsupported. I didn't rate the accuracy because I didn't measure it, but food came out great when I used it so I guess it's not off by a lot. It's otherwise very easy to use, and very convenient for the price (I got it as part of a combo, though) the probes are long enough to use comfortably, I have no complaints.

I can't get the battery cover to stay on, and that's really my only complaint. It works quickly and accurately. I really like it.

This works fine for basic needs and functions as expected. The chart does not work in the app. Everything else does though.

This little thermometer has been awesome. This thermometer is super important for smoking meat especially with a old school smoking since I can more accurately monitor the internal temp of my smoker. Its accurate. It has two probes. Each probe has its own read out, temp limits, warning settings, minute by minute temp trending - all sent via Bluetooth to your phone (so long as you’re reasonably nearby). I can’t justify spending 3x the money or more…

After about 10 uses I noticed the temperature raising very quickly on one probe. The food on the bbq was turning out over done. The next use I couldn't get bluetooth to connect even though my phone was within 2 feet of thermometer. Even after turning off/on thermometer and unpairing and pairing, no connection. I had to resort to my backup 2 single prong, no bluetooth thermometers to bbq the filets. I cannot recommend the DOQAUS Bluetooth Meat Thermometer. I would discourage anyone that asked from buying this device.

the back panel falls off all the time its really terrible and it just doesn't want to work. If your inside and its outside the Bluetooth doesn't really work

Got it set up in seconds with my smartphone. I had no idea it was magnetic, it makes it so much easier to access the hopper on my pellet smoker. I am glad I can now just check on the temperature from my phone instead of having to go outside and manually check it like I used to. Helps me stay on task at home with whatever I'm working on.
