Purchased for my 11 year old daughter, who has an interest in science and renewable energy. Therefore, this product was ideal. She really liked the fact that the robot was solar powered! It kept her busy for hours, and since the product has a number of variations, I'm sure she will keep coming back to it. Some of the parts are a little fiddly and it is essential that they are put together in the correct manner, therefore it is a good project to do alongside your child. That said, my daughter enjoyed building the robots independently for hours after the main body was constructed. Arrived promptly and well packaged.

Hi, this is a great toy for young and teenage kids. It has so many different variations and comes with incredibly useful bags to separate all the components. This works well as you can decant them into the bags when you take one robot apart and then it's easy to find them when you put the next robot together. My son loves it and it teaches him about solar energy and how it can be converted.

This is a great way to keep busy for hours and still have lots to come back to and play again. Great for learning and great for fun too! Packaging is very good and arrived in one piece with no damage. Not too sure what Sheerness and thickness have to do with this product, but I am sure they are just fine too. I recommend this product to any one, adult or child.

We were looking at at something new to build and learn that would not be the usual LEGO (which we do have and like a lot). The robot idea with a solar panel to power movement was good and we thought this could be a test for our girls (6 and 8) to see if and how much they like it before graduating to something bigger, more complex and more costly. They were both enthusiastic and, while they did need some help to get the different bits out of the plastic frames without breaking them (be careful!), they approached the building phase with more rigour than they usually do thanks to the presence of the *solar panel* !! Make sure you build the core correctly and precisely with the motor and the tiny cables in place and then it is fairly easy (depending on age and ability) to build differently shaped robots around it. My girls tried a couple variants and even proudly filmed one for a show&tell via zoom for school. It is made of plastic so we do not expect it to last forever but it does offers the opportunity to learn something new without breaking the bank.

Badly made. Poor quality. Broken parts. Wheels not aligned. Instructions not clear. Waste of time. Really disappointed. Don't ever think of buying for kids as presents. Cannot ask the sellers for sending the broken bits.

My 5 year old loves this toy, he needed help building it but loves to play with it.

Cheap finishing, low quality. You won't be able to assemble the parts correctly (holes that need to connect with other parts, will be blocked, all the parts aren't pre cut which means you'll spend several hours just to try and get disappointed at the end) Highly unrecommended
