Essential & excellent product to complete the heavy bag hanging mechanism.
This is a large and sturdy spring, well suited for a 100lbs heavy bag. I recommend it without reservations. . . . . . As an aside though, there's a bit of bounce in it when the bag is hit hard and fast; perhaps I should have added a swivel in the hanging mechanism which should prevent some of that bounce by letting the bag rotate!

It's good
This has made a big difference for upstairs. I have my bag in the basement below my kitchen. Before the mugs/cups/dishes etc would shake and rattle. My spouse would complain. With the spring it seems to have eliminated that issue. That being said, there is still vibrations and noise that comes through. No product is going to stop that entirely. I have an 80 lb bag that I kick and punch with all my might and it has lasted for months so far.

Solid spring, narrow hooks.
Solid spring, no issues whatsoever for the purpose of holding a heavy bag. Only thing that came up was that the hooks are more narrow than the meister joint I got, so the spring would "jump" back and forth making a loud noise (when the bag was punched/swayed along a 1 specific axis), but it's died down now. No issues otherwise.

I am not sure it improves my setup.
I have an 80 lb bag hung on a wall mounted bracket. I haven't given it a good go yet but I am not sure it improves my experience. So far it looks as if my bracket gets more up and down movement with this on and I am not sure if I like the way it feels to hit. I think this might be most valuable for folks who are hanging their bag from rafters/beams. None Pro tip: Don't whale on your heavybag, use it for conditioning mostly and avoid making it move much or swing. Have someone hold it for you if you are going to pound and you shouldn't do that often. Biy some boxing gloves whether you kick or not. Hayabusa makes AWESOME entry level $80 gloves that include the best handwraps I have ever owned
